Any time you can bring home a meal from the outdoors that's a lot of fun.

About 3 feet of water in a blown cove. Redworms on a slip bobber.

Been nice to be able to replenish fish in a few short days. Just been hammering them in coves in shallow water. These will be tacos tomorrow night or Saturday. Got a pork butt on and it’s just about at 205 degrees.

South east corner. Ohio co
Farm ponds.
Couple acres each.
Wind blown coves are the secret. Get where the water is murky due to waves. Warms up much quicker. Feeding in the stirred up debris.
Weather will shut it down for a while. Was Just getting good.

Also in the Spring surface water is warmer than the water at 3' depth, so if the wind pushed the surface water into the coves that also warms up the coves a couple of degrees. Surface temp in the windward side of the pond will be a few degrees warmer than the other side of the pond. You are on the right track. Yes, this cold front will shut them down for a week or so.
