My favorite is the smallest Swedish Pimple you can get, I change the trouble hook out for a bit bigger one. I like hammered nickel color, fathead or large rainbow…don’t think it matters witch. Never found any smallies today but did catch the biggest goggleye I’ve ever caught.

I couldn’t go out today, but my little nephew hopped on his sled and went out this afternoon and found a few decent perch.

3 walleye tonight, lost two in the hole. Bummer. Light bites? Very light, only fishing in 8ftw. Only way I knew they had hit was by lifting up and feeling for weight.

Got to the fish house at 5pm, left at 6:10. Wasn’t a great bite but wasn’t horrible either.

Not bad! We see the same thing down here. The perch are fatter than the Walleyes.

How much ice do you have?

I've spent the past 2 months working on our jon boat. Bought a 1965 6hp Evinrude Fisherman complete with tank, new fuel line and oil. Finally got a fish finder installed and had to relocate the front seat, so I built a pedestal and got it mounted. Might have to relocate the transducer for the fish finder due to how low it sits, and how close it is the boat runner on the trailer.
