Please add 4 more for Team #1 LCB. Went to spray wasps and evict mice from the shooting houses today. Really windy, but managed these anyway. They must have thought I was deer hunting.😁 Personal total is now 17.  |

They must have thought I was deer hunting.😁 Personal total is now 17. Nice going! Wife and I went for a walk, and I mentioned you couldnt skurry hunt if you had to. Lol. We didnt see any. Not sure how stiff your wind is there, but showing 28mph sustained, and gusts to 37mph so far here. Down wind of Lake Michigan, with open fields to our N and W. Its nasty, and shockingly cold compared to yesterday. |

Please add one to team 3. My buddy wants to tie some squirrel tail jigs so I made a detour on the way to the deer woods. This outta yield quite a few jigs. Or one really big one.   |

As said in the deer hunting thread, I took my skurry gettin 22 when going out to check treestands. Holy moly! I seen approx 15, maybe the most I ever seen in one hunt! First one was a chest shot and it fell into a crotch. I could see the tail, and waited at least 5min, but no movement. I threw a stick on the opposite side of the tree but it never moved, so knew it was dead. I would check on the way back out. Got back by our blind and seen one in the food plot. Shot and it ran to a tree, shot again and it fell but got up into the tree, shot again, and again, but finally lost sight. So immediately had barking from both sides of the blind. So I backed up to take a rest on the edge. Seen one, pop, seen another and pop. Two down in 10 sec, both head shots. Went to first one shot at and looked up and down and all around, but no skurry. Hmmmm. Dont know? So recovered the 2 head shot ones and made way back to original in the tree crotch. Dang, gone now. Looked all over to see if it fell out, but nothing. Could have gotten had by a hawk? So, a slow start but 2 for Team Fort Nuts.  Disappointed that I broke my lucky pocket knife on these two. It wasnt anything special but has been a favorite with me for years. I'll retire it to the drawer and decide on another one. |

Please add two more fox skurries for Team Fort Nuts. No pics.
Tried a little skurry reduction hunt before my first deer sit. Did not disappoint, nor disturb my hunting area one bit.
The landowner was happy to hear of the success! Gotta aim to please, and do your part with helping any way you can to earn trust, respect, and privelage to return.
