I got 1 of those pesky piney squirrels that's been raiding my mulberry tree,too bad that doesn't count  . I still have 1 or 2 that I know of to get rid of. After 60 years of being around this place this is the first time I've seen them piney squirrels at the house. There's been an occasional fox squirrel come by but never them. |

Well, score 1 more for team LCB. Went this am, and finally got one. I swear at 71 yrs. old aches,pains dry eye, and cataracts, it ain't as easy as it useta be...... Thought I'd never say this, but I might have to drag out my single shot 20 ga., if I want enough to make limb chicken chowder, this winter.......

My dog made 4 trees yesterday evening. I Was unable to find any in the trees but I also didn't take a gun. Had a pretty good hunt.

Back when we hunted with dogs we only used them after all the leaves were down. Even then they can be real hard to see sometimes, they blend in with the tree bark real well. |
