Oven baked with Cajun seasoning or Hickory seasoning, I never cooked them myself but I have ate them when a buddy baked them

Thought the camper down here near Monroe would be full of them with all these pines, but there’s nothing.

The brush along our yard is covered with them. I haven't heard too many yet. I'm going out later to look for one emerging so I can bring it inside and watch it.

Nothing here. In Missouri I saw a flock of domestic ducks moving from tree to tree in a park like area. sticking their beaks in the ground after them.

I live in the southern part of the state and I've yet to see a single one. It is isolated. A guy stopped by who lives 4 miles from me. He stepped out and looking around like what the heck...then said "ohh you got em?" It is a steady hum outside. I like it.

Still haven't seen anything in knox or pike county. Went to prides creek and didn't see/hear anything. Sooner or later they're bound to show up and that is when the line goes in the water.

I've seen 40-50 shells on the brush at the edge of my yard but can only hear them in the distance.

My area on the westside of Cincinnati is loaded with them and very noisy already. Dead ones on the ground is starting to add up. The big wave will happen when it rains which is coming the next two days. I've read they prefer soft ground to emerge. My bet millions are waiting for the rains.

Same nothing here yet either. But boy do we ever have ants!!! I killed an area this morning 2ft x 1ft solid packed with them. The hole they are using is about the size of a quarter, which made a perfect funnel for the garden hose to give them a bath.

Nothing in knox yet. Hoping they decide to come out and play this weekend as I'm off. I only get 2 weekends off a month and I'm hoping its this weekend. We will see.

Still nothing in Posey we'll see what happens after the rain from today. It might have been here that I heard it but I heard they come out after the rain when the ground is soft.
