The last time was during squirrel season and for some reason it was the best hunting I can remember.

I would gather handfuls of them at work and throw them in a friends work truck. I would let some go inside the offices too.

Maryland had a monster hatch of 'em in 1985. My son found out that bass loved them. Fish bait on every tree and bush!

It sounds like they are good to eat, taste like lobster or shrimp. Saw on news last night a Louisville company is selling seasoning to use on them.

Anyone out there started seeing any action out of these little buggers yet? I've got some vacation time to burn and I don't want to miss what could potentially be the biggest free fishing bait event for the next 17 years.

There has been a few pictures yesterday on my Southwest Ohio Bee Association group. The Cicada expert at Mount St. Joseph stated this Friday to Sunday. Once it warms up. He stated the cicadas are ready. I'm guessing this weekend to next week for the central to southern part of Indiana and southwest part of Ohio.

Hopefully it falls on a day/s where I can get out there and take advantage of the free bait not to mention feed the fish.

Been deal with "FIFI" the house maid, oh wait that's me when I'm off work. I haven't had time to look but I will tomorrow when I get home. I've given the wife standing orders that when they come out I'm going fishing. She may not see me for some time.

Looked around the house and in the woods no holes no cicadas. Same where I'm at. I even dug a couple of holes and didn't see anything.
