Killed 3. Most of the birds didnt fly in until after shooting time ended. Must've had around 1000 birds fly in right at dark.

Well we will be making our first solid attack on the specs and snows tomorrow afternoon. They have been feeding in the same field for the last two evenings. We will see how tomorrow goes. Hope we look like the place to be.

question Does your canada geese have a season and bag limit I ask because over here they are classed as an invasive species and can be shot all the year round. Billy

Not good enough. At least show us how you cook them up! I got on to this form of cooking around December and have made several cuts of deer, beef steak, and a goose breast, AWESOME!www.youtube.com/watch?v=Np0LMwqtOVMYou cook a duck or a goose breast this way and you won't be able to kill enough to to satisfy your needs. This is the 2nd time I have heard about this cooking method. I am going to have to look into it, I like a well cooked steak!

Hope we look like the place to be. Body count? Well it was a bust. Body count of 0. I think the clear day and sun hurt us. First birds moved about 10 minutes before sunset. And was very active when we were sledding decoys out. What a disappointment.

I know the feeling, I had a few days this season that I thought for sure I was going to be covered up and then nothing.

Question for everyone. I have been hearing a lot about limits dropping down next year. I saw Pintails are dropping to one across the nation but that was the only one I saw that would affect Indiana. Anyone else see anything?

All I heard from them was one big volley about 10 minutes before legal light ended.

A pair of Mallards was on my pond when I went out there this afternoon to do some fishing - first day of ice off. While I was there I had a dozen Woodies fly over and land in the neighbors pond in the woods.
