What part of the state? Story about the hunt? 10 minutes north of Indy. Set up on a ditch running through a field

This season has sucked. Need some bad weather up north. All we seen Saturday was locals.

Finally got some new birds a couple thousand specks and a few hundred honkers. Hopefully they'll repeat what they did today tomorrow.

Everyone I hunt with don't mess with them. I have a call and they respond to calls pretty well. I have a plan for our normal spot with snows and speck silos in deepish water. I dont have any floaters and too far to pack in many big decoys. Maybe get a single or small group

Honkers worked, specks not so well. Still a fun time in the field

Did an afternoon hunt. As we pulled in seen a pair of ducks fly in. Night ended with about 100-150 geese, 4 swans, and about 20 ducks. 7 of the ducks were woodies. My buddy killed a buffle head and that was it. We really need good duck weather, this is old.

Shot 3 gadwalls at Goose Pond on Saturday. Nothing spectacular but there were a few birds around.

Other than a few that commit suicide or get pass shot. None of the hunters going to goose pond are equipped to pack in a good spread.
