SB109 will go to the full Senate for debate and amendment tomorrow as second reading of the bill takes place. There are already 7 amendments filed. Hard telling what's going to happen but tomorrow should be exciting... iga.in.gov/legislative/2016/calendars/senate/09/WOW! Any more amendments in the hopper?

"Prohibits computer assisted remote hunting on hunting preserves." Hunt Deer from the use of a computer? Never heard of this method of hunting.

Yep it has been done. Live-shot.com was up and running until Texas banned the practice. Don't know if any other ones ever existed; several States have passed laws banning the practice. It caused quite a stir.

It caused quite a stir. WOW!!!! Hunting Deer or other game, by using the key board of a computer!!! THAT, in my opinion, would be the ultimate big "NO", for this type hunting. Glad to hear it's banned in States.

Yeah, I didn't believe it at the time and actually went on the site to see if it was true - it was.

There was an anti Senator spoke against this bill today, as most people apposing hunting whether its this method or others he tried to justify his position by claiming to be a sportsmen and showed his true lack of knowledge regarding the sport of hunting. He said and I quote " When I was young I took my 5 gauge shotgun duck hunting". Yes he said he used a 5 gauge. He truly exemplifies the mindset of people who oppose hunting. They dont know anything about it but just because they dont know anything about it or dont participate they gotta try and prevent others as well. Opposing hunting preserves is like opposing people carrying pistols but claiming you support gun rights. Live and let live.

Opposing hunting preserves is like opposing people carrying pistols but claiming you support gun rights. Live and let live. There are many people carrying pistols that shouldn't, if caught they will go to jail. I'm a firm believer in our 2nd amendment right. I always will oppose buying and killing your bragging antlers behind a fence.

I prefer the analogy Hunting High Fence Preserves Is like Going to a brothel in Vegas and Claiming True Love The High Fence Deer farmers are not the savers of our sport !! Or never will be !! Go buy a Cow and shoot it That's High Fence IMO and a lot of others think the same

Hunting preserves are not for everyone. However they are a very important part of the hunting world and in the not so distant future they will be what saves hunting and the hunting heritage and allows a place for people to hunt. How are they important? What part of the actual hunting world could not survive today without pens to kill deer in? What exactly are they going to "save" hunting from? Another question, you state that shooting pens protect my way and every other way of hunting. How so?

Great news for sportsmen and everyone involved. That is if your in the deer pimping business or having manhood issues an need to kill something ...BUT NOT FOR SPORTSMEN ....it's not a sport to fulfill the need to kill by buying a deer and killing it its a sickness so don't lump me in your definition of hunting and being a sportsman

How are the pens going to hurt everyone? Myself I could care less what someone is doing with their own property, money, deer/animals, or the people that want to spend their money to shoot in a pen. I don't see it affecting me what's so ever. Kind of look at it the same way as when I hear people putting down deer baiting issues, I would bet those same people would have no issue's shooting a bear over bait which sounds simple but I know a lot of bear hunters that were unable to fill their tags this year or even see a bear while on stand. As long as people stay legal more power to them.
