25'06 is hard to beat. My girl shoots my 25wssm. Shoots so flat and far that you have to salt the bullet or the meat will spoil before you can get to it. Ha

If they will turn off the cameras and let our military do what it's capable of I don't think it would take that long.

Great post. Here in Texas one of the biggest challenges for youth is finding a place to hunt. Hunting has become such a business that unless you have money for a lease or own land it's a challenge. I encourage those who have or have access to a hunting property to take a youngster along. Personally being in a stand with a young man or lady when they took their first deer is one of the coolest things I have ever experienced. The first deer is always a trophy. One that you both will remember for ever.

I have no issue saying what I feel like a lot of people are afraid to say in this "politically correct" world. I am against it, I do not believe in it. I do not see how this makes a stronger military. I could go on and on but for now I am just stating my opinion. Also, medic22, Please explain you reasoning for 8 year active enlistees deserving such treatment but not 4 year active soldiers or as you state "weekend warriors"? That's just what I believe is a fair trade for the tax payers to fund $50,000 for a cosmetic surgery. If your going to give 50k elective plastic surgery to someone who wants to change their gender them give it to all the men and women who serve that are ok staying the gender they were born.

My catahoula used to keep them thinned out pretty good. I don't know for sure if she heard them or smelled them or what. She would walk around the yd surveying the situation and then start digging. Might take her an hour to complete the excavation but at the end you had a dead mole and a hole you could fit a small car in. Ha.

Ranger for a ride x side. I have an 800 crew and a 500. Use them every weekend hog hunting. They are very capable machines. Honda for a four wheeler. Not much load capacity but they are bullet proof. On the side x side I wouldn't recommend a crew unless you need the room. It's like trying to maneuver a stretch limo in the woods.

It really is a blast. Big time adrenaline rush. For man and dog. Ha. I like to hog hunt but I'm sure my dogs like it way more.

Yeah they are all spoiled. It's hard not too spoil them when you see what they are willing to do to please. When I stop being amazed by what they are capable of I guess I'll quit running them. Pretty sure that will never happen. Ha

Well I dropped the ball and didn't get any pics. We had a pretty good group show up and everyone brought dogs so i didn't even turn mine out. Ended up baying and catching 2. Both about a 100 pounds. Those boys dogs did good a couple of them were younger pups. Had an issue with ranger tire so I called it a. Night around midnight. My dogs weren't too happy with me. Ha

If you want to bow hunt you could probably draw in New Mexico. Rifle is tough but archery is about 95 percent. At least back when I was hunting out there

That's what hunting is all about. Spending time with the ones you love out in nature.
