The one I’m looking at is a KAUFMAN brand. Single cylinder scissor lift. Brakes on both axles. My truck can pull 10200 pds and I have added airbags when I had a travel trailer, should be ok on the truck as long as I don’t overload. I do have a brake controller in my truck.

Anyone own one? Pros and cons? I’m looking hard at a 12x7 12k.

A buddy of mine gave me two pieces of 2” pipe that thread together, 24’ will be more than enough to reach all the way through. It’s a private drive.

Anyone have any ideas on how to open up a culvert under my road packed with rock and sand? I’ve tried my backhoe with a thumb and ran a 10 ft piece of pipe back and forth but it’s further in there and if I can break through I’m going to run a chain in and run a rolled piece of chain link fence to pull through. The culvert is 14 inch concrete pipe with water on one end so I can’t get a look in it. Short of cutting a 10” tree and running through I’m out of ideas. Thought of calling the local volunteer fire department and making a donation if they pressure wash it but haven’t got there yet or sure if they would. Any ideas?

I was home on leave from the Marine Corp. couldn’t travel back to LeJeune so they put me TAD on Recruiting Duty for 30 days. Spent all my time at home, never recruited anyone.

Back at it! 34 degrees and lightly snowing/frozen rain. The walk back here was super stealthy today due to the higher recent temperatures and the rain. I moved my chair about 100 yards toward where I saw a buck stroll through last hunt. Due to the rainish stuff coming down, I found a half fallen tree to sit under, but with the medium wind it’s kind of blowing sideways at me still lol birds are chirping, and I’m bundled up. In front of me is a ravine with a dried up creek running through, and behind me is a thicket I wouldn’t dare to walk through (unless you told me there were brand new hunting clothes in there, cuz I’d need them). I believe I’m going to sit here until 4, then make my way down to the cut corn field where I saw two deer feeding when I walked back to my truck a few nights ago. Hang in there. I checked my camera’s and last week had a few bucks pass through during daylight.

I have property I hunt in Perry and vanderburgh counties. My Perry county land had EHD this past summer. I found 3 dead deer by the creek and my neighbor found 2 on his property. I didn’t hunt there this year because my trail cameras only showed does and young bucks. The property I hunt in vanderburgh county is a reduction area so I took 3 deer of it. No issues seeing deer there.

Add a buck to team 5 Grunting Geezers. I killed this one in reduction area on November 19th but didn’t know a second buck was 5 points. Small rack but field dressed 185#.

In the truck would be iffy I would think, doesn`t it heat up in the sun and aren`t you afraid of condensation? In the garage I get, but I even worry a bit about it being in our unheated garage. And ok...I`ll be the one to ask...Glass plus? ? Lol.. You’re trying to get me banned for being off topic.. 😉 Yes, I’ve cleaned my MZ with Glass Plus for years. Works great . No ammonia like some other cleaners. www.acehardware.com/departments/home-and-decor/cleaning-and-disinfectants/glass-cleaners/13035As a bore cleaner?

I had a doe once run into my chain link fence and break it's neck. Happened in the spring about March several years ago. Sherriff came out and gave me a possession permit and I skinned and deboned it.

I just bought a spypoint cellular camera. Gonna try it at my remote property. Cost $99 on sale and transmits 100 free pictures a month with plans you can purchase if you get more pictures. Mines going on a telephone pole about 18 foot up pointing at my entrance road.

Luckily I have good neighbors at my hour away property. Still I put up a gate and have cameras and just bought a cellular camera. At the house I have video cameras at all entrances. Never caught anyone trespassing on camera but word got out I’m ex law enforcement and have connections.

Wife did not bake a turkey this year but my daughter did. So we had turkey. In my wife’s defense I had two buddies I haven’t seen in a few months come in from different parts of the state and they bought 5 pizzas and beer. Still full from that.

Bethel Township is in Posey county around Griffin Indiana. I have a buddy who has a lease there and he always brings home a nice deer. Not that close to Evansville.
