Question for Lugnutz? Just curious as to how much you contribute to the deer herd reduction in other words , how many deer do you harvest per year?

LOL , He's usually around to help but this new place we are looking at the deer are most likely to fall at the bttom of a deep ravine with lots of downed trees so we are trying to be prepared for the worst. I'll have to pass your suggestion on to him Hahaha

Anyone on here ever use one of those roll-up plastic deer sleds to retrieve their deer? I have been looking at them and wondering how well they would hold up in rough terrain. I have a few places where I can't get a 4 -wheeler or deer cart into so I am looking at these for a new option. Thanks in advance for any input.

They will sell you all the tags you want but in the end you can still only take 2 bucks per season Last year you could have bought an archery tag , a gun tag and a muzleloader tag but you were still limited to 2 bucks / season

That was my first bow in 1965. The older boys in the neighberhood got recurves for christmas and I was too small to draw thwm back so I converted my slingshot into a bow with a heavy piece of aluminum wire and electical tape to hold the arrow level. I got pretty good with it . It was fun till I got a real bow.

Deer moved past the stand in the dark this morning but it wasn't a total loss . About 7 a coyote came through and I put an arrow through his ribcage at 20 yds. He tore out of there and went over the hill and I heard him crash. I called my Uncle who still runs a trapline and he came and got him. One less varmint to contend with.

Fulda at the Village Hut , Tell City at E&E Guns or The Circle S Mart on Hwy 37 near Branchville might be your closest options til we get telechek someday Not sure about any donation programs as of yet.
