Woody , I got my comprehensive hunting in March of 87. It really tightened our budget that year but has paid off ten fold. My # is 04xx . About 10 years later my wife started seriously hunting , we got her lifetime .It was about twice what I paid but quickly paid for itself. Then in 2000 when they were talking about doing away with it we got one for our son's high school graduation present and it really paid off because he is married and living in another state and comes home to hunt free in Indiana. Best investments I have ever made! I wish I could do the same for my grandchildren now.

Looks like it won't go into affect until 2025. Will require a $15 license. DNR will work out more details later

I remember hunting Kentucky about 20+ years ago when they had their 1st bobcat season. They were so worried about over harvesting that they made it difficult to harvest one. Then if you shot one you had to contact Fish and Wildlife to come to you and GPS the exact location of harvest and take blood samples . As soon as harvest numbers were so high the season would end even though it was a short season already. Now the population has gone up so much that you can take 3 per person with a gun and a total of 5 / season total if you trap and the season has been extended to 3 months.

3 of us left Lincoln about 1:00 today without a deer. We each saw deer but it was so thick that good shots weren't available .Wife was counting shots .Last count was 20 . Talked to a guy as we checked out and he said 17 deer were checked in today . 8 does 1 button buck and 8 1 1/2 yr. old bucks.

With the problems with Russia I have heard that it is hard to get Vitavouri powder. Have you had any trouble finding it ?

thanks , have enough 4759 for this season but definitely need to try something different for future. Appreciate the feedback from a shooter with experience ! I have some VV110 that my wife shoots in her ML10-2.She wanted a mild load so we set her up with 38 grs behind a 250 grain hornady SST.
