Finally got on board this afternoon . Add my 10 pt. buck to team 12 please. Took him at 1 this afternoon with the 6.5 Creedmoor. Thought I would try midday since I hadn't been seeing much in morning or evening and it worked great !

3 of us at Lincoln and only came home with 1 deer. Very thick , so the deer that were seen didn't offer shot opportunities . Between us we saw 7 deer and the one that was shot was a 15 yd. shot. Probably didn't need a hunt there this year. Last we heard there were 21 killed 1st day and 4 the 2nd day from talking to a guy at the gate. This was not an official total but probably very close .

I was told that they are always around , but seem to get out of hand when we get a lot of rain in August.

The only problem I had with pallets was trying to use them again the following season and they were so full of wasp nests that you could hardly get close to them.

We started the spring with cicadas and now we are invaded with army worms eating up crops , yards and food plots . What's next ?

Woody , put me down for 23 points for team 4 . Using my rifle , I harvested a button buck in Spencer county yesterday evening and this afternoon I took an 8point buck and a doe in Perry County .

Reserved hunt applications for dove, waterfowl, deer, and pheasant will be accepted starting July 6 and will close Aug. 17.
Individuals must apply online for these hunts.
