We started the spring with cicadas and now we are invaded with army worms eating up crops , yards and food plots . What's next ?

the Bible says that after the crops are destroyed then it's floods and drought.... no wait a minute, we already have that... looks like the end is near, so do what I'm doing "bend over and kiss your a$$ goodbye"!

Stop using pesticides, insecticides and let the lacewings and trichogramma wasps live. No more army worms. Stop spraying so much.

Perry , the channel 14 news said they were bad in Vanderburgh county as well I live in Posey and have not noticed them. I hunt Perry quite a bit though, not sure what they do to oak trees, I can understand your concern for food plots and crops for sure.

Driving thru Missouri today I saw 1/4 mile stretches of bushes on the side of the highway completely covered with tent caterpillars. SOLID, not patches.

My neighbor has some in Southern Warrick County. I have some dead patches of grass but it looked like the birds took care of the problem.

I did the dish soap and water test for them and none came up. So I don’t know if it’s worms or a fungus. I’m going to spray just in case.
