From the state of 10,000 lakes and you need to dig a pond? Thats why they dont need to be deep enough to hold fish over winter.

Everything in white is what I’ve had dug in the last few years. Excavator is in there now working on another pond. This is on my training grounds that I train retrievers on. Ponds are only 6ft at the deepest, just need enough to swim dogs. It’s a all summer job mowing, spraying, keeping cattails and moss out of the ponds. Some day I hope to get a indoor kennel system built with live in quarters.

Planted a acre and half of roundup ready sweetcorn for the family, two acre's field corn and two acres of beans for the deer last weekend. Turnips will go in mid July. Looking for a good disc to pull behind the wheeler to do my shooting lanes I cut this winter.

I have a drilled well, 4 inch casing, 117ft. My pump is 7ft down and has a cable tethered to it. My outside hydrant broke this spring, I called a well guy to come fix it. He carefully unscrewed it, pulled it out of the ground, put a new piece on the bottom and pushed that sucker back down the same hole and screwed it into place. Now had I done that I'm sure a 1/2 inch rock would have fell in the hole and I would have had a excavating company out here digging up my yard...LOL

A number of years ago I brought my son down to hunt turkey in Indiana youth. One morning it was raining hard and we had no luck from the blind. Driving back we seen about 20 turkeys feeding in the back field of my inlaws, knowing the two toms had several hen and probably wouldn't respond to calling I told my son to run back to the woods funnel and I would try to push the birds to him. When i started across the field they all ran into the woods, when I got inside the woods they were all around me. I was able to keep eyes on the tom and actually herd him like sheep until I got him headed in the right direction and I was close enough to my son to holler here he comes...bang!! I dont think turkey are used to people chasing them thru the woods and they acted dumb founded and didn't know what to do, at times I was as close as 20 yards behind the tom. They were all talking to each other the whole time. When brian shot several flew up and landed in the tree's, I was able to walk right under them. Legal, ethical, I dont know but my son was sure happy. First and last time we were ever able to make the trip for turkey.

Greg, I opened the link you posted and this is what was at the very top of the report.
"A gunman opened fire at a FedEx facility where he once worked and then killed himself. His mother told the police a year ago that she feared he would commit “suicide by cop.”
Here is the root of all shootings. Friends, family know these individuals are off their rockers and need help....but they do nothing until it's to late. When someone says something like the comment this lady made they should be held somewhat responsible!

We used to find a good number of them when I lived down there, I couldn't help but think there must have been a heavy population of natives if we were finding all those arrowheads. Logansport area was always a good place to find them were the wabash and eel river came together.

We had a superintendent that quit talking to my coworker because he brought in some smoked musky for lunch. He actually said to us that he cared more for musky than his own kids!!! Nice guy but all I could say was WOW!!

Anyone equipment suggestions on here for catching musky? Also, does anyone eat them? I hear mixed reviews about eating them. My son fishes for them a few times every year. Went with my buddy from fisheries doing net surveys, awesome fish!! Dont think I would eat one and tell people, might get lynched by the musky maniac's..LOL

Felt the same for many years, but learned to compromise for the betterment of myself and family. Hell I think most people that are all tatted up have a few screws loose also....LOL
