Seems like a strange place to encounter a bobcat. It looks like she had a cat in a carrier. Maybe that's why it attacked her. I think that guy holds the record for farthest bobcat ever thrown.
**Strong language warning**

Gents, that is exactly why you should carry something with you while you are out and about in the woods. Definitely an eye opener though.

I seen that scrub and I was wondering the same thing. If you watch the video closely you can see the bobcat come streaming in from the left hand side of the screen. Comes from across the street in the neighbors yard.

I don’t Plus it’s against the law to kill them... if the woman not carry the other cat the attack don’t happen IMO! Betting the other cat is in heat!

I think you're allowed to defend yourself if one does attack but good luck getting drawn on one before it's on you or a partner. I've only seen a few but from what i see they don't just stand there and let you pick them out I've found them to be very difficult to get my binoculars on, I'm not saying it can't be done but if you are in an attack situation in an "off guard" moment I don't think you safely get a shot off especially with anyone else with you. Dude had a hold of that critter though, bet that wasn't pleasant!

I saw this yesterday. The text with it said the DNR said it had rabies. The attack was in N Carolina.
That cat is fast! At the end of the video it streaks under the SUV then across the street.
