I do indeed have one. I haven't reloaded for it yet, but it will be more than sufficient for deer! The 458 socom can shoot much heavier bullets and they are a true rifle bullet, so they are also more than sufficient for deer. Hornady makes a bullets or two for reloading and one factory round for the .450. Remington actually has one factory offering as well. The gun comes with a factory brake, so it kicks like a 20 gauge but it is sure a fun round to shoot. Danf can attest to this as well. We did a little shooting together before he made his migration north.

Lots of ice here....trees and power lines sagging badly, honestly surprised and blessed to still have power and tv. In case things turn for the worse, I have got the Generac and 15 gallons of gas on tap and enough wood on the porch for 2 weeks for the stove. Family is all together and prepared for the worstestest....(thats really bad)...

Recently (last week) left my interesting career path of human resources and now I am in advertising sales. I also own a tiny marketing business which helps to finance my outdoor pleasures! Great mix on here and its really cool to see how we all come together to obsess about our outdoor passions together. Can I get an amen? ;D

I can't wait to use my 450 Bushmaster on deer!!! Some may remember why that particular gun of mine has significant sentimental value!

I know I wouldn't shoot a deer past 150 with a .44 Mag. I cant even see that far in my woods. x2!!

200 yards with a .44 mag? I am a huge fan of the round, but that is a bit of stretch don't you think?

I have you beat! My father in law comes and clears our drive with his tractor when I am at work since he is retired and just down the road. That leaves me with a small sidewalk to shovel and salt! ;D

I was riding my quad through the snow into my neighbors front yard when 2 does jumped out of the woods right in front of me. I hammered the throttle and chased of them down a trail into the woods. I actually was actually gaining on them good and got pretty close to the deer and gave ithem the scare of a lifetime. It was absolutely hilarious and I doubt that I will ever get that close to a deer on a quad again!! ;D

Many of us use the "one shot, one kill" approach with bow, single shot rifles, pistols, and shotguns....muzzleloaders too.
