Woody, I won't be able to be on a team this year. Please remove me from the team, "Wild Squirrel Hunters" and get them another hunter.

Yeah I work next to two big cookers at work. I'd hate to think what temps it reaches in there. I'll probably sneek out opening day for a minute no matter what but i won't be out long if it's like this. I've noticed the squirrels move much better on cool mornings anyway Yep,they're not very active usually when it's hot. I've heard them still cutting in the evening when it was getting so dark I couldn't see them anymore and it was pitch black before I got out of the woods.

My ponds been down about a foot for a couple months and the rains we've been getting (what few we've had) hasn't raised it a bit. The ground's dry and all cracked.

Oh I am gonna be in trouble. Lol. I forgot about my boy Luke for this year! I am going to put him on the team with us, so that may change things due to the number of hunters. He is still 5, and will probably only be out a few times with school starting. well sounds like we will have to see what the officials say and go from there The mrssquirrelhunters is wanting to be in it so if it's alright she'd like to be on our team.

The mulberry trees did good but that's it except my grape harbors are doing fine. My cherry tree had 1 on it but I haven't checked the crap apple trees. The rest of my fruit trees are too young to produce.

Well let's see, spent 2-3 days trying to figure out why my push string trimmer wouldn't start wound up having to change the engine.
Had to tear the carb. off the 4 wheeler because the float needle stuck open, found out while I had it apart that the float was also set to high from the factory now it runs better than when I bought it new.
Was trimming around the pond and the cord for the fountain got caught on it so I had to take out about 10' of cord and splice it back together.
Cut down 2-3 small trees and some dead limbs off of various trees plus 2 metal posts and a grounding stake from dad's old purple martin racks.
Moved the aerator diffusors again and will again in a couple months, trying to get the muck cleared up but it's a slow process.
I'm hoping to get some of the painting or roofing done this summer but as busy as I've been it'll surprise me if I get to it.
Will be putting up a flagpole in August after I get paid and also an incubator so I can hatch some duck eggs and hopefully get some geese eggs too. My neighbor came down last weekend with his tractor and moved some of my dirt piles to fill in the ditch that collapsed west of the pond and since he lost all of his ducks to predators he's wanting some ducklings as payment.
Been shooting some test reloads out of the Desert Eagle and Mini14 when I get a chance and the weather cooperates.
I also spend a lot of time helping my old neighbor with various things.

Got it all back together and it runs better than the day I bought it new. It has always run super rich, flooded out bad and everything and when I brought it back still under warranty the guy said "we don't have that problem with this model" and just adjusted the choke which didn't help a bit, ends up the float was set too high from the git go.

I've had a bellows call for over 20 years, never had a whole lot of luck with it though so I usually don't even bring it anymore.
