Someone usually beats me to a post like this, but not this year! I was just driving down my street and a tall 8 pointer stepped out in front of the car and just stood there. Not quite a shooter, but I am amped up and ready to get out on Saturday!
Anyways, I will be taking my 450 Bushmaster (or my 6mm Creedmoor) and my 10mm Super Redhawk out this weekend.
What about all of you?

Was hoping to take a deer with my 357 Maximum but I shot a buck and a doe during bow season and I don’t want to take anymore does off of the farm so I will be using my 17MachII on some squirrels.

Browning A-Bolt Mountain Ti with 85g Barnes TSX at 3250+ fps. That's just this weekend, there are 3 other rifles that will be used during the season, depending where I'm hunting.

I’ll have the 350 legend and possibly the 30-06 depending on if my son is with me.

30-06 with 180 grain. Would prefer to use 150 grain but my wife’s aunt bought me 3 boxes of 180 last year for Christmas and with the way things are getting ammo right now I’m going to make it work.

I’m tagged out but my daughter will have her Handi Rifle in 357 Maximum with her, I will be the guide. Every deer hit with that gun has dropped within 30 yds. Great caliber.

I've got my buck already and have no need to kill another deer but I'm gonna pack my 1940 Remington 141 just to carry it in the woods.

Too many choices to list. All depends on where hunting, rain or dry, public or private, surrounding cover.
May start with 243 and 6.5 Grendel on opening weekend.
Park hunt will be 350 Legend and 450 BM. High shoulder or neck shots to drop in place.
Once I pull the trigger, that gun gets put in back of the safe for the season. Most everything is hand loaded, so bullet performance is noted for future loads.
I kind of miss the one or two gun battery. I have lost the "hunt" aspect, and now am too focused on the "shooting" side. Afraid if I dont rotate thru, some would never get used. Then feel like why have them to just sit there? Idk.

What caliber? .243, is the A-Bolt, 7mm Allen Magnum (180g Berger hunting VLD @ 3380 fps or 195g EOL Berger at 3300), .450 Bushmaster (factory Hornady Black ammo), and maybe the .308 (168g - 175g at around 2600-2750 fps. Could be Berger Hunting VLD, 165g SBT Sierra Gameking, or Barnes 130g TTSX) My "range" is less than 50 yds from the door of the house so I will be able to test easily.

Wife - 6x45 Son - .243 Daughter - 243 Me - probably just my suppressed .22lr as I will be hunting with my daughter and I want her to kill her first buck. I have the rest of the year to put my tag on antlers.
