I have a .35 Rem Handi rifle that I haven't taken a deer with yet. I think that It'll be in the woods with me on opening day.

I have a .243 handi rifle that has never been out yet. Just got it sighted in at 175yds. Would like to use it, but seems the muzzleloader always wins. Also have a .308 that is still in the box from the Thompson Center special buy last year. Got the scope, just need some rings.

Beautiful laminate stock, SS barrel Ruger M77 Mark II in 30.06 with a Leupold 3x9 variable scope on top. Had it for years. sold it to my Nephew, bought it back several years ago, but I`ve never killed anything with it. I hope to change that this upcoming firearms season. I zeroed it with Federal Premium 165 grain Trophy Bonded Tip rounds.

Since I'm after a good buck now I figure I better step up to the plate this year Accordingly I'll be taking the 375H&H! (actually I'm using it because I've never had it out hunting)

Ruger American chambered in .243. Did the trick last year. Why mess with success?

Great gun at a great price. Took 3 deer with it. An moa rifle for $179 after rebate- I couldn't say no.

If I find another opportunity to hunt private land, I have an old Winchester 94 that shoots like a dream.

It'll depend on the mood, but I'll either be using my Tikka T3 Lite stainless chambered in .243 win topped with a Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x42 or Howa 1500 Hogue .308 wearing a 4-16x44 Vortex Viper HS-T.
Both shooting Hornady handloads.

I plan to tote my Savage Model 10 in 358 Hoosier.
As for the 375 H&H mentioned above, I don't know the answer to this question but, is there a good deer bullet for that cartridge, one that will expand reliably? A .375 hole won't do a deer any good, but finding deer can sometimes be difficult if there's no expansion. Just curious.

Basically a fatter version of the Speer bullets I shoot in my 358 then. They are the 180 gr flat point hot core.
