I got Brown county park for early and late hunts. Can you take a buddy this year or is it like it was in the past where they had to apply with you?

Both brown county hunts for me. 10 minute drive for me to get there. Hopefully my spot produces like usual.

I'm a big loser this year. Good luck to all who were successful! Can't wait to see the pics this fall.

I'm a big loser this year. Good luck to all who were successful! Can't wait to see the pics this fall. Of course, all "luck of the draw", but hate to see some guys get drawn for all, and some for none. I was good for one so far, and still got a local nature preserve draw to go, but just sayin.

I know the Park hunts put people with Hunter Ed certification first, but not sure about the others. Thats the only reason I have a hunters card. When I lived in California, hunters ed was mandatory. That's the reason I have it. The instructor told the class when it was over that Ca. does not keep records of the hunters ed classes, so if you lose your certificate you'd have to take it over again. Mine stays tucked away.

I've never done a park hunt. I've heard horror stories. Are they as packed as I've heard?
