Does anyone know how many were killed or injured during Indiana's modern gun deer season by high powered rifles.

How many buildings and houses were riddled with holes?

Only one building hit that I know of and there is no proof that it was because of a hunter

Only one building hit that I know of and there is no proof that it was because of a hunter I thought it was determined not to be by a hunter? Every time something new comes along there will be those who will predict the sky will fall, and it doesn't. Basically most people don't like change.

I remember the bullet appeared to be an FMJ. Thats about it.

No buildings riddled by holes, no hunters killed by HPR
The sky is still above us...
People dont become slobs or careless just because the weapon in hand changes. That's a mindset they have regardless of what they hold. Just like on line check in doesn't create poachers or make it any easier.
The idiots will alwayts be idiots, the poachers will always be poachers.

Pretty sure it turned out to be a neighbor target shooting that caused the holes in the barn.

Yes I thought so. I hunted in Wisconsin this year and with 650,000 hunters I haven't heard of any accidents. I can't say they had 0 but the percentage must very very low.

And according to the numbers we didn't even wipe out the deer herd.

The only shooting I know of was the kid in Switzerland County. He was using a shotgun.

"Well $#!+ There goes that argument...must think of some other trivial BS, scare tactics to get my way..." -majority of folks who opposed HPRs
"Going to have to push "ethics" and lower than normal deer sightings blaming more in 2017" LOL!!!

And according to the numbers we didn't even wipe out the deer herd. Cross guns already did that

No but ask any processer how many people learned that an HPR does a lot of damage to meat. Especially when you blow out a shoulder.

No but ask any processer how many people learned that an HPR does a lot of damage to meat. Especially when you blow out a shoulder. Ask any processor or anyone who processes their own, how much damage an arrow or slug does to a shoulder. You hit the shoulder with anything, it's essentially wasted for human consumption(In my opinion).

Head shots allow for very little meat waste
