Depending on what the final regs look like, I have a 30-30 and a 30-06 I may add to the rotation.

I currently do not own any hpr's. I am focusing on archery this year as I have purchased a wicked ridge invader g3. I suppose I would consider it in the future depending on where I am hunting and if it suits the situation. As for now I would have to say I am undecided.

Im on tapatalk so i cant see polls, though i guess i could go to the website, maybe later.
The only legal rifle i have is a remington 700, but i doubt ill carry that out with a 16x scope on it. Ill use my slug gun, and if i feel like hunting an area that will presen with 100-300 yard shots, ill just use my blackout pistol. IF i even hunt gun season, ill likely just bow hunt.
All really a moot point anyway since i hunt state land.

Without language specifying exact legal cartridges or exact legal bullet diameters I think any centerfire long gun could be seen as legal if a person were willing to get busted and challenge it.
Call your 50bmg a 243. Have it engraved on the barrel.
Lawmakers never fail to amaze me.....
And yes, I'll likely be using one.

I don't own any rifles. I didn't own a crossbow either but went out and got one. Probably buy a rifle. Not sure I will hunt with it but nice to have the option.

I'm hope every year to be done hunting by the gun opener, so there's always the possibility that I may not hunt with a rifle.

It specially states current rounds plus 243, 30-30 300. 30-06 308.
If I had one, I'd use it. Not for need, but to increase the number of different weapons I have used to make venison. Fun iow

No. I don't own one nor do I hunt anywhere that there is the need. I am proficient with my .44 Marlin at 100 yards, which is farther than I can get a clear shot in the woods.
For the record, I don't care what weapon anyone else uses.

Lets see..... I have a .243 Winchester, a FN SPR .308 and a Remmy 742 in 30-06. Will I use any of them here in Indiana for deer? It depends on a couple of things: IF I don't have the 3 deer that I normally take in the freezer before firearms season, IF I have time to hunt during the firearms season, and IF I hunt the 2 properties where a shot over 300 yds is possible. BUT, I'll probably be still using the Savage Muzzleloader for of my non-archery hunting anyway.
