I am looking forward to the rest of the line. I assumed that they would have rifles out sooner. Processes and programs must have been really messed up from Remington.

The one in Ft Wayne had a lot of reloading supplies, powder, primers and bullets before this mess. I do not know if the decline in ammo and reloading supplies is all due to the recent rush of to the buyout. Their gun counter is well stocked with a varity of rifles, pistols and shotguns. They have a decent fishing camping and boat department. Clothing was seasonal but the had very little XX sizes. I go there when I am on that side of town. I was hoping when Bass Pro bought them out I could get free shipping to the store.

I'm pretty new to muzzle loading and unsure of how and when to use bore butter. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys! If you are talking about "seasoning" your bore just mix some Tony Sacherie's (sp) seasoning in with your powder and shoot it that way, it will do as much good. Bore butter, Wonderlube and similar products are just some mix of wax and lube. As stated use them with patched round ball or bare lead bullets. A range rod is a really nice accessory to have for shooting and cleaning. I took my short starter and drilled a hole in it that fits my ramrod. I use it to be sure the ball is fully seated. Use you field ramrod in short strokes to push the round down. Maybe 8 to 10 inches a stroke.

I bet he is still trying to get the smell off.
Pidgeon River has a couple of spots like that.

My son made his first solo sit at 14. No problems. Rainy miserble day too. I let a spike walk and he ended up under Ethan's stand. I was not sure about the legalities but once they have their Hunters Ed they can go on their own except for youth hunts.

I am looking forward to the Ruger Marlins. I think they will be a well made rifle. I would like to see a "BR" or "S-R" proff stamp on them.
Maybe an 1894 Cowboy in 45 Colt?
As far as Ruger's warrenty goes my LCP 2008 build got sent back to Ruger for warrenty work. They sent me a labeled box with prepaid shipping. Sent it out on a Friday had it back the next Friday. Complete with a new mag. That was in 2017.
I own 2 other Rugers, a Single-six and a MarkIII? I think it is. Both shoot and function fine.

Good grief...glad I don't read this section very often. I can't handle the drama that you love to wrap yourself in and attempt to pull others into. Tin hats errr white hats with vague words of fortune telling....broken clock is about right. Make up your story with little to no details and take events and mold those vague words to fit the event. Old tricks that manipulators have played for centuries. If something doesn't happen soon I am going to start it.

It sounds like they bought a mess. I like their plan to bring back the brand. The mention of the 60 as a direct competitor to the 10-22 was interesting. I would like them to bring back the 39A too.

No I could not get GM to come up. The plant is about 5 miles south of the marsh.

You think a Gun hunt would be allowed at that location? How about crossbows? Some think it’s the same thing.. 😉 . I think that is a good idea. They can use mine.

It would be great to do a wounded Warriors hunt on the GM facility south of Ft Wayne. They could be helping GM and GM would be helping WW. You think a Gun hunt would be allowed at that location? I do not know if they have ever been approached. I remember reading where they held a WW hunt at Roush Lake and I think they saw 1 deer. I had passed GM and there were at least 3 bucks and a bunch of does along 69. I think there are a lot of areas on that property where someone could set up. I think it would not hurt to ask. Here is a topo map. Go south along I69 to the interchange at I469/Lafaytte Center road. www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1TYsk8Qy0JN38SVhpafEpGOvGvMw&ll=40.96623548844872%2C-85.30271763706148&z=17

I am praying all goes well for your whole family.
As far as work goes if you need to take care of any family member you can get FMLA. It is the law. Now there may be some exceptions but if your company is big enough to have HR they should be big enough to be under the act.

So if it is livestock could he legaly kill it? If that Kentucyana buck was worth $10K wouldn't this one be worth about the same? I realize loose livestock law varies from state to state. Would it be the same as a bull or a horse loose? How about dogs? On the other hand he should have mentioned the High fence name. The country wide exposure would be worth as much as the buck.
Wasn't there a similar case a few years back where a high fence buck was shot?

Not the smartest decision. Looks like the plans for big $$$$$ will fall through too.
The downside is it will give those that claim every big buck comes from a deer farm some credence.

Say you have a smoking deal lined on a ( fill in the blank ) but you do not have enough to buy her the appliance dejour AND ammo. First you need a gun case preferably a hard case. The soft cases you need to put some filler in or you will get busted. Take said case and walk by the wife with it saying the last time you had it out there was a problem with it. For safety reasons you are taking it to the gunstore for a check up because you want to be sure there are no safety issues with it. Put the new gun in the case and walk right in with it. It works most of the time.

When ever I bought a new gun I usually picked up a new sweeper, crockpot whatever I thought she might need around the house. It worked with all nine of my wives.
