I am doing OK. I am 100% responsible for everything now. I am Uber driver, secretary, cook/housekeeper,medicl dispensary ,you name ti I do it. Tina is doing best that can be expected. Not sure where we stand with the cancer. She was cancer free after the operation and on a mantanance drug. The last picturte/tests show the cancer is back. The last Dr appointment is when we found this out. The Dr's body language, tone of voice and demeanor did not have a positive enthusiasm in beating this as other appointments. This was the first time the option of no treatment with medical treatment for end of life enjoyment was offered. This is also the first time she was ask about her health directory(that thing that makes me power of attorney and health care representative if she is unable to call her own shots) Tina is still rundown from the first kemo then operation, then second kemo then the mantance drug. She is going to start a 3rd kemo in about a week. The is I really do not know where we stand with the cancer. I know it is aggressive. I knew it had fairly good survivable percentages with kemo and operation, but no idea about anything with it returning. She is calling the shots 100%. It is her live and health. I am just giving support to all her dicisions. Looks like it is gona be a ruff road ahead. Onebentarrow

“If a deer is unfit for human consumption, DNR staff would be able to issue an authorization to take an antlerless deer in its place that will not count toward the statewide bag limit or county limit.” Looks like no one gets to shoot a second Buck even if it's unfit for human consumption. 312 IAC 9-3-2: Replacement deer for deer harvested and determined to be unfit for consumption The DNR proposes a rule that would allow a replacement deer to be taken if a deer that was legally taken and has meat that is unfit for human consumption under 312 IAC 9-3-2(bb). An individual taking a deer that is unfit for human consumption occurs often during deer season, with a peak during firearms season. Currently, department staff examines photographs, evaluates the meat condition based on observations by biologists and conservation officers, or both. A decision is made whether to allow a person to take another deer if the staff determines the deer is inedible based on department guidelines. If an individual is concerned with the condition of an antlerless deer, and there is evidence of systemic infection, department staff allow the individual to take another antlerless deer on the current license used to hunt a deer. The only issue determined by the department is the usability of the meat to the individual. However, when an individual calls regarding the condition of a buck (antlered deer), there is often an issue regarding the desirability of the antlers to that individual. Department staff have found that some individuals who are dissatisfied with the antlers on their buck will call asking to be able to take another buck on their license if they can find something wrong with the carcass. Additionally, some individuals see this as another opportunity to take a second buck if the meat of the first buck is not edible and believe they will get two sets of antlers for the year. If department staff determines that a buck is unfit for human consumption, they are required to make arrangements to collect the antlers. The process is lengthened because the individual must decide if they are willing to live with the antlers, but not have meat from the deer. The willingness of an individual to give up antlers often helps department staff to determine whether the individual is trying to get another opportunity to shoot a second buck, or whether the individual has an honest concern about the condition of the meat. Currently, department staff does not allow individuals who have shot a deer that is unfit for human consumption to keep the antlers. The change would allow DNR staff to offer to replace the meat with an antlerless deer privilege, making the response more uniform for the individual. This approach would replace the meat portion of the deer without needing to take away the antlers on the buck that was taken. If the department suspects a disease, such as bovine tuberculosis, department staff confiscate the whole deer and allow the individual to take another deer on that same license. This process is different from that described previously and will remain in place for a deer the department confiscates for disease reasons. www.in.gov/dnr/fish-and-wildlife/rule-regulation-changes/Another long drawn out law that hurts an honest person because some dishonest jerks want to beat the system. Question If I find a dead buck and want to keep the skull (always want to keep horns even if it is a spike) what is the procedure there? What if it is a doe and you want to keep the skull? I always treated them just like any other skull you might find ie coon fox ground hog cow horse and such. Got a funny feeling I broke the law in the past and did not know it. How much more difficult is it if the buck you found is a 170 class verses a 100 in 8 pt. Onebentarrow

When you are hunting how meny does do you see per buck? On a normal year I will see 15 does for each buck I see. Just prior to rut and rut around 5 does to 1 buck. Normal day of hunting is 3 to 5 deer. Some days 0 some 8. I never got in to shead hunting because there were so few bucks in such a large aera it was almost impossible to find a shead. Spent a lot of time in the woods in the last 40 years and only found 1 shead.

Old enough to know better than to post my age on the internet. The amount of data mining going on is unreal. Remember the saying "Big Brothers is watching you"? Now it's a whole lot of eyeballs watching.......... Not being g a smartalic but please explain what data mining is and what or how my age in a form has anything g to do with it and how it would effect me. I am extremely computer/tech illiterate. I have no computer and can just bearly navaget this form and a few apps on my phone. I do not buy or pay for anything with my phone,no bank apps or access,no medical records access, nothing. I basically use it for calling, youtube, couple forms, pictures driving/ road app, texting faimly/friends and looking up information on Google. No Elaxa or any thing like that. Sincerely Onebentarrow Edit. I saw a post on a trapping form about age and got me to thinking about here and our age. There was 18 pages of replys from. Age 13 to 89 and not one comment relating to not posting age because of risk. I honestly did not think it was a problem and ment no harm. I know if you google my name my age and address comes up and the name of some of my relatives alo g with a bunch of other information I have never posted on a form or the net. Onebentarrow

They say the hunting public average age is declining and it got me to wondering how old everyone on here is. My family is a hunting family. I have 13, 15 and 24 year old grand nephews, 30,35 42 and 47 year old nephews that hunt and my self at 67. Got a couple 5ish year old grand nephews that want to be in the woods with dad looking for deer tracks and rubs, so we cover the whole age spectrum. Can't say I influenced them all but if they wanted I always took them along scouting, putting up stands, had them involved in skinning and butchering, shot bows and guns with them and hunted with them and cooked and ate the harvest with them. So back to the question. HOW OLD ARE YOU?
ME 67

Found a little state access to the beach so fished the surf. Don't know what I am doing but had fun. 1 white fish (great eating) 2 sail cats (as good as any cat fish and 1 I do not know. But will find out if it is good tasting. I know a lot of people here would not keep fish "that small" but I am useto cleaning 8 in perch and 7 in bluegills so no big deal

When I get home I am going to look in the mail box and if there are not envelopes with $10 in it from each person on hunt indiana I am gona post the pictures of me in the speedo here. I should charge more but sence you all are friends I am gona let you off cheep. If you saw me in a speedo you would gladly pay a hipmitest a hundred bucks to make you forget what you saw.
Thanks for the donations. I really appreciate it.

We made it to FL safe and sound. Got to our room yesterday at 4pm. The drive was the worst I have had. Stuck in construction traffic jam 30 min at 69 and 465. Accident in down town Louisville stuck 30 min. Spent night in Bolingreen KY. Next day hard rain all day. Drove 40 mph on interstate because could not see for 10 min. Ran wipers on high all day. Got stuck in accident traffic jam some place for 20 min. Stayed at Miranda FL. Good weather next day. Had I10 shut down for accident. 30 min in traffic then routed us off I10 and had to go around to next I10 entrance (saw some pretty senery) problly lost an hr. But we made it. Sitting hear eating bacon and eggs then gona go to store and get groceries for the week and do some exploring. Suposto be a dock acc streat owned by the place we are staying so gona find out if I can fish it.

We are suposto get 6 in of snow big wind then the -0 cold. I don't care. We are heading for Florida tomarrow as soon as we get out of Dr appt for a week. Gona stay extra day on the road so we donot have to worry about the weather if we left friday morning. car packed and ready to go. Also got a couple fishing poles. May drownd a worm or two. What part of Florida you headed to? You picked a good time to go for sure! Sébastien, fl,Indian river on oyster bay. Couple hrs south of Datona. I saw this cold forecast few days back and ask her if she wanted to get out of here. She said YES!!! So I got on the net and started looking for a place that was warm. Got a two bedroom full kitchen on the bay. Never been there but reviews were positive. When I look at reviews i throw out the it was great and the it was horrible ones and try to read between the lines on the rest. It hasn't failed me yet. If all are it was great I figure they are fake and if all bad I figure true. This is an OUR vacation so problly won't do much fishing. Will do thrift stores, good will, cremedic shops and pawn shops plus bunch od driveing around looking at scenery. If it was a my vacation it would be focused around hunting or fishing which I do every now and then
