Buck down wasn’t going to shoot, but couldn’t resist at 25 yards. Now the first nice doe I see gets it.

So, this just happened. The guy crossed the field from me just shot at a herd of does that are 400 yards onto my property from his. 4 shots! I heard two of the bullets zip by right before the report of the rifle. Beyond livid!!! that’s some time to call the warden crap right there. Call any LEO…. Never turn a head to that BS |

Very few shots in rural Laconia. My buddy has one down. I've seen three, no shot opportunities.

I think I will go get my GSP and try him out on deer tracking, he only went 20 yards.

Not hunting today due to work but my dad saw a very nice 10 pt cross our property and took the gun out after him. Problem was, our ram decided that Dad was a perfect target too and he had all the ewes in tow too. I think Dad's still out there waiting for the buck to exit the CRP land.

I’ve had another buck chasing a doe behind me and a doe fawn just basically ran underneath my stand. She’s lucky I let her go. The neighbor just shot and scared the heck outta me. Right across from me. After his second shot I heard the deer groan real loud so I’m guessing he got it.

9:20 and very quiet. No close shots, and around a dozen I could hear. 11 hunters on 567 acres are 0, 3 on 187 zero and brother and I zero. Seen one BB spike. Sun is forecasted to shine around noon. Maybe that will get the deer moving. Switzerland and Ohio Counties.

I am embarrassed. I hunt with muzzeloader. Had my buck dead to rights at 45 yds ,stopped broadside, squeeze trigger no boom just a pop. In my haste I reloaded it then realised I had a double charge in it, so back to camp I go to pull breach plug and punch out both loads,re clean everything, pop some primers off and reload. Just got dune. Not in the mood to head back out now will weight till this afternoon.

Few shots.....buddy just shot a doe...... I've let 3 does and a 1.5 walk so far if doe comes by it'll get it now that we have one to take care of.

The group I hunt with on 4 farms for the past 40 year is now 4 generation. Youngest is Parker, 10 yrs old

Fewest shots I think I've ever heard
Unfortunately, as I entered the woods at about 515 I ran into a couple deer in the dark. One of which then proceeded to run around blowing for a few minutes. Pretty sure she cleared out the woods.
Morale has dropped.

This was live from the gas station ran up to get my fountain drink and the guy had a big nine pointer in the back of his truck I asked him if it was chasing or with a doe and he said no.Said that he hadn’t seen anything all morning pulled out his ground tube and hit it a couple times and within a couple minutes he walked up on him

Me too. I know gone are the days like 20 years ago when i heard 300-350 shots between 7-11 opening morning but last few years its been around 75
