Doing a slow scout/hunt on HNF since leaves are so wet. Seen 2 does and a small 8 so far. I would like to try HNF one weekend. Next year. I'm from northeast indiana and we have public land but it's tooo accessible. I hunt private in two spots I have seen one shooter buck on both properties. The one iv hunted for 12 years and the other 2 years mise well call it urban hunting pretty much hunting in the bedroom for the deer.

There's a fair number of youtube dipsh*ts here in bow season, and of course gun season has many local folk hunting. My favorite time to hunt here is in muzzleloader season. I've basically had the woods to myself in previous years.

6 does 1 buck got within 40 but way to thick. Could see plenty of points and body. Thought he was tending a doe there but I think she either exited other end or they are holding tight

I have to cut it short today myself. My daughter is singing at a Veterans Day program at school that I’ll be attending and then bowling league tonight. Back at it tomorrow for an all day sit. Been dead here too.

Pulled the pin on this mornings hunt. Nothing else seen.
The land owner wants to have a meeting this morning. Unfortunately, I have a bad feeling about this.

Staring at OnX and the far hillside and had a doe slip in 30 yards from me in some briars. I managed to get crossbow up, but too much brush between us. She blew for several minutes then took off.

Buck is hanging tight in a wooded drainage. Got as close as 50 but very brushy. Catch a back or leg or antlers every so often. Looks nice but really no clue
