 Here is the 8 I passed this weekend. He started off with a doe then let her feed off, wasn’t super interested with her yet. Should get going here pretty good where I’m at in the next week or so. Wow! You're a better man than me. Lol! I'm pretty blessed with the property I can hunt, and I have three boys who fill the freezer so I can sit and be picky. |

Already kicking my butt for not going to the farm but those are the hard decisions I have to make....dang the luck! My camera has been quiet for a few days so surely they are due for a hot lap |

Cameras have been showing a lot of night action. I would say typical of the warm temps. I believe the next few days to come will be some of the best. Falling temperatures and prime dates.

Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment. Setup again. Hunting the far downwind side of a large block of timber with some cut corn in front of me. 18mph winds with a light drizzle. 68 degrees. But.... it's November baby 😁

Congratulations to those getting it done. Cant wait to get in next week. Weather still looking warmer than I thought. Haven't been getting alot on the cams last week, but a little action here and there. My family and my brothers family are in north central Iowa for pheasants. We got here tonight and will be back home on Friday. Saw tons of deer on the drive out, including 3 mega giants in Iowa. Going to enjoy pheasant and Hungarian partridge hunting while we’re here, but I’ll definitely be ready to get back to deer hunting at the end of this week. Hunting private or public? I have been trying to get my group together to go to S.D. But they all are deer hunting. Lol |

Glassing the bottoms in my shorts and no shirt. Little bit warm. 5 does getting chased by a buck all over the field.

Oh boy, what a roller coaster today. I actually saw some decent action this afternoon. most of it was very far off. About 45 minutes before shooting light my target buck came bolting in chasing a doe. Got a quick shot off at 28 yards but the arrow Hit a sticker Bush I didn’t see. Arrow veered off 2 feet left of the deer. He didn’t even know he was shot at. Continued chasing the doe. 🤢🤮
On the positive end he didn’t know what happened. We’ll see hopefully I get another chance.
