Had a decent weekend, saw plenty of deer. One nice buck passed, one borderline shooter just out of range. Saw a little nudging and checking of does by some of the more mature deer, nothing over 3.5 but no big boys up and running on cams or in site yet. Good luck everyone. Vacation starts Friday thru gun opener. Wish the temps would cool off.
**side note, how do you post pics on here?

 Here is the 8 I passed this weekend. He started off with a doe then let her feed off, wasnāt super interested with her yet. Should get going here pretty good where Iām at in the next week or so. |

Not sure I will be deer hunting this week as I have a big poultry show this weekend in Ohio so will be gone for 3 days plus need the time to clean poultry, car, and show stuff. On top of school. Maybe Thursday, just maybe but it would mean the meat has to go somewhere else or sit for an extra day.

My family and my brothers family are in north central Iowa for pheasants. We got here tonight and will be back home on Friday. Saw tons of deer on the drive out, including 3 mega giants in Iowa. Going to enjoy pheasant and Hungarian partridge hunting while weāre here, but Iāll definitely be ready to get back to deer hunting at the end of this week.
