I will be out tomorrow at a different place trying deer and turkey.... Gotta take the blind in too though because of a damaged tree stand so setting up in the same spot as the stand but not gonna sit in it. Going to be a slightly later start time due to a possible extra trip in.

Ended today seeing 4, fork yearling, doe, and a eight point just past the ears wide. Used tinks wind was whirling pretty bad. They were pretty hesitant tonight.

I'll brag on this. For 2025, I'll have 34 paid days off! And to think a year or so ago you were ready to stand in the unemployment line for food stamps. Yep, glad I hung in there! Still on pins and needles sometimes, but thats life. Someday when I either retire or croak, I won't worry so much. 😆 I appreciate the pep talk and words of wisdom. 👍 |

My daughter and her boyfriend come home from college this weekend. He wants to try hunting, never done it before. He’s a pretty good guy, and I’m taking him Saturday morning. He’s up for anything with antlers, I’m liking his odds. I’m more excited about this than if I were going myself. My daughter can handle things herself at this point.

That’s been my favorite thing to do throughout my hunting career. Taking someone new to hunting is awesome! Can’t wait to hear your story. |

As a father of two daughters, I have thought about the same situation many times. Honestly, I'ts something that I am looking forward to. They have both been told no deadbeats and no radical liberals. I'd be willing to put up with a sensible Democrat, but I don't know if there are any under 60 anymore. |

Sweet November is upon us! I'm still stuck working today but, hopefully I can at least get out tomorrow. One more week of work before my rutcation!
