 Started out great this AM birds going off at daybreak I could hear them after flying down walking around the front woods thinking I got made again today 3 were strutting spitting you name it and all of a sudden the hens took off to the field I could still hear them but we’re going away finally I seen them in the field next door. I’m sitting in my blind watching them for about a hour when I hear a hen beside me thinking no way than again and agin next thing I know he walks out no noise or anything sticks his head high and starts looking bad decision on his part just couldn’t stop myself it’s a decent jake and I’m happy and very thankful for it Thanks to all of you it’s been a blast reading about your hunts seeing your birds unfortunately I’m out but will root for you 16.8 lb 5 inch beard 1/2 and 1/2 spur |

Sitting here looking out the back slider that hens right back eating clover we’re her boyfriend just got behead 45 minutes ago I guess she just didn’t care that much about him
