Abbie's school fall break is this week and we are usually in Pigeon Forge, but obviously not this year with what we have going on with Tammy. So I took today off and we hit Glendale in the boat which was a flop as my batteries were dead. I'll have to investigate that later. Moved on to a small private pond and took home 23 bluegills. All were 8" with a couple smaller that were hooked too deep for me to risk throwing back. We had a good time and saved the day on the little pond. Cleaned up and ready to go visit her Mama at the nursing home.

Enjoy your fish dinner! That is great, good for the 2 of you! Straight to the freezer. Tammy loves fried fish (like us all 😁) and we're saving it for when she comes home from the nursing home.

Well check for health insurance to stay compliant today. Might as well make the best of it after you’re done. The all taco team! Got the smoke rolling!

My girl outfitted me this week. Here are the keepers. They also got undersized amber jacks, red groupers and a few others.

Last one I was out on we got into a big mess of Grunts and it was more or less just like catching bluegills when the bite is HOT; one after the other as fast as you could get the bait back down to them. Thankfully, they fried up just as good as bluegills!!

Trigger fish is what I'd call them.

Bag of bluegills before sun up. Geese are coming in for the day. Fall on the pond is the best.

Abbie and I got out this afternoon for a quick fish. Caught 21 today. She wanted this pic because right at the bank it flipped around and line got wrapped around a fin and it came out hog-tied. 😄 Froze this bunch up, too, for when we get Tammy home. We'll have a couple good fried fish dinners with fried taters and onions!

Up here water temps are hovering around 50-51 degrees. I'm busy stocking minnows in a lot of ponds, and stocking panfish and cooler water fish in others (Yellow Perch and Walleye).
The Walleye that I picked up in April @ 3.25" are now 10"-12" and going in the different ponds.

Well no deer this morning so I went on down to the river for consolation. Walter here was my only catch but it sure was nice to see him.

18 inch sauger for the win. Sheepshead for the loss. But not complaining!
