Here is another view of how far down esshup's pond is. Its unbelievable! Another pic to show those hybrids compared to a 5 gal bucket. They are awesome fighters! Right on the money weight wise, bigger was 5.56#. url picture uploaderThanks again for letting Luke enjoy the awesome fishing experience there. He is so hooked! Anytime. Gotta get the kids hooked on the outdoors. Where Luke and I are standing, the water should be almost 6' deep. See the tree across the pond? The water at full pool is about even with the base of it. It's been 12 years since you could walk to the island and not get wet..... I calculate it will take approximately 1.7 million gallons of water to refill the pond, maybe 1.8 million.

My pond is pretty low but that one is really bad. Hope Indiana gets a bunch of rain sometime soon, only 1/4" last night.

I’m currently in Port Clinton, Ohio. Chartered for walleye today and possibly tomorrow. Ended up with a limit of them between the 3 of us. Great size, I would say 90% of them are 4lbs+. Water was choppy. Sea sickness that I’ve never had kicked my butt. Nothing like heaving over the side of the boat between reeling them in🤮 imgur.com/a/f5yeTNL

Steiny: Did the fish make it?? How many sloshed out into the cooler? I pulled in here at 11 pm CST. The stop after yours turned from putting the fish into coolers to putting them directly into the pond as if I put the fish in his cooler they all would have been dead by the time he got them into the pond. A 28 qt cooler won't do for approximately 15# of fish........ huntandplumbn, I feel your pain. I was on a fishing trip where EVERYONE except for the captain was chumming, even the deck hands. The more trips you make the more your body gets used to the motion. I've been on some fishing trips where the dock was moving when we got off the boat, and even the truck seemed to be swaying as I drove home......... BUT I really, really like sleeping on a boat that is rocking on the ocean, I can't even compare it to sleeping in a bed on land. That's a nice bunch of 'eyes!!

Just been hammering the big bluegills and redears this fall. Catching them in 30+ foot of water.
Caught a 12” and 11” redear yesterday. Let them both go.

Praying for a bunch of rain. The pond is still dropping. Here's a picture from today..... When the pond is full, the walkway going to the pier in the background is level with the anchoring platform that is sunk into the ground with 4"x6"'s....... The furthest most post on the left side of the pier is below the top of the floating portion of the pier at full pool. This is the lowest it's been since I renovated it in 2008/2009 and it was filling up.

Brian is home for Thanksgiving, he walked out to check ice on the lake across the road. 4 inches in 10ft of water. He is going after eyes in the morning.
