Score 2 more for Team#1 LCB. Decided to take my single shot H&R Sportster this am. Hit a new woods, and ended up seeing 3 in the same tree, not 75 yds. from where I parked. Ended up with 2, both young fryers. Brings my total up to 5 so far.  |

Add 3 more to team 3: Squirrel Team 6 please. They were really active again today but only 1 was cutting,the rest were gathering and storing. That seems early to me,wonder if it means we'll have a bad winter.  |

Two more young grays for Team 6. Both head shots again. Hind legs of the smaller one look like buffet bar frog legs they are so small! 😊 Had a half inch of rain this morning and it was about 9:30 before I hit the woods. Shot these two fairly close together about 10am. Wind started in and was blowing limbs around and making rain drops fall. Everything was moving and making noise in the woods. Near impossible to make out squirrel movement. Saw one more sitting tight on a branch and I got into what I thought was a good enough position. I could see his ears sticking up over some leaves. Put the crosshairs at the bottom of the ears and let it go. Must have been a limb between him and the leaves because he scampered down the tree and vamoosed at the shot. Personal total is 7.  |

Add 5 more for Team 6. All grays again. All head shots but one that was close and looking right at me. Right under the chin into the chest. I liked your stick maddog, so I made one last night. Came in handy on two shots where I didn't have a tree to rest against. Personal count is now 12.  |

Score 1 more for Team#1 LCB. Too nice a morning to stay home, so I headed to the woods. Heard several bark, but only saw two. Nailed this one with a nice head shot, when he was coming down the tree, and stopped to give me a cussing.   |
