12 miles East of Plymouth Indiana, about 4" and still snowing very lightly. For all the doom and gloom that the weather people were saying about this storm, it'd probably be the end of the earth if they forecast for a storm like the 'Blizzard of '78. Reminds me of Chicken Little...... Ya they said up to 12 inches we had 8 a few years ago one of the worst in years shut down the city I’d love to see what 12 would do

Just turned from rain, to freezing rain, to sleet, then to snow pretty quickly here in brown county.

Power went out, like it seems to anytime the wind blows here. We're all electric, so I was starting to think it was going to be a cold night. They got it back up pretty quick though.
I cooked up a backstrap while ago, sliced it down the middle and stuffed it with cream cheese, then wrapped the whole thing with bacon. I've got a gut full of meat now and a big cup of decaf coffee. Will probably head to bed in an hour or 2.
Everybody stay safe and warm!

We finally got snow!
I left my dad's by the fairgrounds in Columbus with an inch, maybe an inch and a half on the ground, got to Greensburg 2 hours later with around 5 inches on the ground.
The temperature drop and the wind did a number on the ground and I am surprised how fast and solid it froze to allow the snow to stick that well.
They just pulled an ambulance out of a ditch, and currently on a different scene waiting to pull a plow truck out

Pretty weak here on the west side of Indy. Grass in my yard is still sticking out above the top of the snow. A far cry from the 12 inches that was initially predicted and then revised to 5-8 inches in my area.

I think we got more than 5" here. Blew the driveway off last night and spots were 8 to 12" deep. Coincidentally my daughter's boyfriend got a text and picture of a driveway with an 18" drift in it and they told him not to try coming home. It just seemed like a good night to give some pistols and my shotgun some TLC. Suns out this morning and there does not seem to be much wind. Guess I will finish up areas I did not get last night.

Topped of the fuel mix with a dab of Seafoam and hit the driveway. Garage sale baby of a snowblower is running like a charm. Did the neighbors driveway too! Got 2 more asking, so after a cup of Joe I'll head to do theirs too! More than paid for itself already! We only have 4-5 inches at the deepest here (little drifting) so pretty much a cake walk!

Maybe 3-5" in NE LaPorte county. Saying couple inches lake effect today. Pretty cold out, but toasty warm in the house and garage with the woodstoves burning.

About 3 or 4 powder covering ice in Bedford. Fox 59 was reporting Bedford got 8". I am about 5 miles north and 2 miles west of Bedford so maybe they did.
Helped neighbor who got stuck in their drive. Small Hyundai I was stumped but my other neighbor had a plan right away that worked. Figured it was because his lifetime experiences of getting his fords unstuck! My chevy's never left me stranded!
