A buddy has a July fishing trip planned, he's not too optimistic that it'll be open in time.

Looks like fun, hopefully we get our season back here. Both you AND Wisconsin need the season back. Put the wildlife management back into the biologists hands not the courts.

LOL, I think that would be a good idea Billy. He said the females will weigh 100 lbs, males 125 lbs. He wants a minimum of .243, prefers a .30 caliber.

I have been away for a while. Put in for some usual CO tags with a VERY slim chance of drawing the deer tag I want....much better chance next year. I also put in for the IL disabled Vet hunt again and had a buddy apply as well. In conjunction with that we are going to be headed up to WI for gun season with some buddies. Was trying to head to the UK again this year but all of this hoopla has made making plans on that scale tough if not impossible. There will also be waterfowling to the greatest extent possible.

I drew one of the 60 bear tags for my area zone. Takes us 5 years to draw a tag anymore. Not really a bear shortage (have so 4 this spring), DNR is trying to up the bear population.
