Well I sure as hell hope they are wrong for next week. They have rain in the forcast for just about everyday.

Raining here now. Pretty good storm rolling through and look's like all southeastern indiana is going to get some rain. (Glad I got plot's in Sunday.) I saw there is rain in forcast for like next 7 or 8 days.

Crazy how it work's. I live 3 miles from Quercus Grove and got almost an inch last night and another .25 inch this afternoon. Can't be more than 8-10 miles from you.

With Sept. right around the corner, making plan's to check all stand's and strap's as well as reclear shooting lane's. Get mineral lick site's cleaned out, and top off new fall plot's with some fertilizer. Also time to do some seroius range time with bow and get arrow's/broadhead's ready to go. Opening day will be here before you know it. Love the FALL.

Good soaking rain this morning. Much needed. We are getting too much down here. I need a break in it to finish pre-season chores...

I finally managed to mud in a small planting of oats, beans and clover yesterday...between my double job work schedule and the more 'hit than miss' rains we've been getting I figured I was out of time and couldn't wait for it to get dry enough for good planting conditions....grrr....at least everything got rained in again last night! Labor Day weekend was my absolute cutoff date for doing this-hopefully there will be something there in six weeks to keep a little closer on my property.

Rain or shine. It might look like a rice paddy when we are done.
