Three colonoscopys here, lots of small polyps taken out, high risk of colon cancer, diverticulitis big time, Metamucil too high priced, "Fiber Therapy" at China Mart is exact same thing, only 40% cheaper.

WELL WOODY don't keep us in suspense tell us what they found up there or is down there. When I had it done my wife told the Doctor don't be surprised if they find my head up there.  |

After drinking 4 liters of YUCK and 37 BMs I was cleaned out. Nothing but water. First few BMs had some blood then that cleared up. My rear end was so sore I could not have to touched with a powder puff.
Colonoscopy was at 5 and lasted about 3o minutes.
He found one very small polyp and removed it . He said the blood had been from verticulous and no signs of verticulitis. He said by all present signs it was now OK.
Funniest thing I never did go to sleep and watched the whole thing on the screen..
Got to watch my diet and if I EVER bleed like that again I will go to the doctor or ER first thing, pronto.

Watching a colonoscopy on TV sounds like a great idea for new reality show,I know of a few guys who could be stars overnite. I think a trip to BOB EVANS will put you back on track. Glad to hear everything worked out in the END!  |

I stopped at Hardy's on the way home and got a Super Bacon Cheesesburger. First thing I had to eat in 28 hours. Goooooddddd! Might do BE breakfast tomorrow. I think I still have BOGO left..  |

Praying for ya Woody. As for the fiber thing; Doc told me to start taking Metamucil about a year ago. I'm amazed with the difference it has made. If I had known, I would have been taking it 20 years ago. I asked the colo-rectal surgeon about Metamucil and he said occasionally it was OK but not every day as my bowel system could get dependent on it and that would not be good.. Might do it once a week or so.... |

One more thing.... I pretty well out of it in a bed right off the waiting room. The attendant had just put me in a wheel chair and I went out like a light. My wife told me later that the attendant told her to wait right there and she would come back for her.
After she dropped me off at the room she went back to get my wife. My wife said that she really didn't need to as my wife could have just followed my blood trail right to the room. My wife says she now knows what I mean when I tell her "I'm following a blood trail".

Guess what?
The bleeding is back again.
After a normal BM yesterday this morning's was full of blood. I have has three episodes of blood so far and i am now back at St Mary's ER.
We git ahold of the doctor before we came down here and he said I could just stay home, lay down and drink lots of fluids and see what happens OR come here. After Sunday we opted fir the ER.
Prayers are appreciated
