hello from the uk Name is Billy i am 53 and a professional deer stalker for the government. i started the job when i was 16 and i am still not fed up of it. I live in the Scottish borders nearest big place is Carlisle
I work in the biggest man made forest in Europe called Kielder There are nine of here in the district and we harvest 2500 roe deer per year. I harvest 200 from my area using a tikka and sako 308. The roe buck season starts today sun 1st April so i will be making a noise in the morning i hope, hehe I also take part in shotgun shooting during the pheasant season
Lately i have become int rested in archery and am hoping to learn from you guys over the pond In the UK it is illegal to hunt with a bow, so anyone who wishes to try it has to travel, and as such very little is written about it over here. I have a viper xt 2000 and have been practicing in the garden and i think i am doing ok for a greenhorn at 25yd. So not lot more i can tell you at the moment. just to wish you all straight barrels and arrows, stay safe regards Billy

Hello!
I am Tom (Doc) Waters, I have dual citizenship in KY and IN. The wife and I recently bought a place between Patoka Lake and French Lick.
I am a firearm only hunter at present. Looking forward to what I can learn from these forums.
My grandfather was a government hunter and trapper (predator control) for thirty-five years in the panhandle of Texas. I grew up hunting coyotes and bobcats and I am eager to learn all I can about predator hunting in the Hoosier state.
