Hi!!
Just migrated across the river from IL. Ducks and geese are my passion but I do like to sling arrows and slugs at road goats too. Grew up hunting deer when it was a good season when you saw 5 deer for the year. Started duck hunting at Hovey in the early 80s but mainly hunted the sloughs and backwater along the Wabash. As with most things, times have changed and the days of free duck hunting have gone away with the price of deer leases over there. Still have some ground on the west side of the river and family in Pope co. Looking forward to chatting with folks here and learning more about the southern IN opportunities.

Hello everyone, my name is Clint. Im new here, but not new to hunting. I live in North Vernon and have hunted here all my life. I primarily hunt with traditional equipment (flintlock muzzleloader/long bow), but Im looking forward to hunting with a crossbow next year. It will finish out my Indiana Grand Slam. Brand new here. Looking forward to connecting with other Hoosier hunters. I love God, my family and friends, bowhunting, and trailcams in that order. I work in a hospital as a respiratory therapist and also serve as the hospital chaplain. I have also been the pastor of a couple of churches.

howdy all , I am a dad of 3 , 2 raised , 1 to go. have a little time for me now that 2 are raised , i used to hunt very avidly before the kids came along and i am getting back into my favorite things to do , rabbit and pheasant hunting, aswell i have never taken a deer and that is on the list for this tear, new bow to do it with.

Hello all.
I am Mike Adkins, I live in Indy on the west side, actually just moved here from Zionsville. This is my second year hunting, I only hunt with a bow. Last year I only took one shot, I wouldn't even count it as a shot due to forgetting my release at the house. That will be the last time I ever do that. The release is strapped to my bow now.
Sitting in the same spot as I was last year when I took the shot I was able to shoot again and hit the doe in the heart. She ran about 80 yards and dropped. What a great day!
As far as personal life... I am married, have a 3 year old boy, and work as a programmer for the Army National Guard.
I think that is about it. I am happy to be part of the forum. Now that I am hooked on this hunting stuff, I am sure you will see a lot of me.

hello my name is aaron im 39 been hunting 30 some years and still learning i have a 10 year old son i have been takeing out sense he could walk been tring toget hes hunter ed . new at all this forum stuf hope to learn some new stuf. thank u

Hello, Name is Monte been living in Indy for 2 years now going to college at Vincennes ATC Indianapolis campus, been slowly getting into hunting over that time. Dad's a duck hunter and likes training gun dogs, uncles a trapper and my mom shoots skeet. Sister and her husband like spending money on gear but have only gone out once in the last 3 years.
I've only been out duck hunting and want to get into deer and other things, the misses keeps busting my bum about getting her a deer some deer. I have two lovely, cute and annoying children, 3 1/2 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. Can't wait till there old enough to take them out with me, only thing is I can already tell my daughter is probably going to be the one bugging me to go. =P
