What do you think? Shed one side or broken? Real hard to judge at this angle to me. Shed, broken would have been something left.

I can’t tell you the last time I shopped at Walmart for hunting items, in Evansville it’s very limited. Rural King is my go to. Glad you’re finding deals where you’re at, it all helps.

After looking at these sheds they might be last years drop. I don’t know how I could have missed them all year if they are. I would have run over them about 10 times. Stranger things have happened.

In my opinion those are last years sheds. They have discolorarions on them and the one is whiter around the base than the other. I have walked past sheds several times myself and never seen then until maybe the 4th or 5th time walking past them. One year I hunted the same tree about 3 different times and on the last time saw a shed on the ground only about 10 ft from the stand and it had been there the whole time. I may be wrong but they dont look "Fresh" to me. I can respect your opinion, but I can guarantee you they were not there a month ago. I use my 4 wheeler to drop off my climber and I would have run over them twice and I’ve been on that path since then once. They look old to me also but they are not chewed or gnawed on at all. I’ve found year old sheds and there’s hardly anything left. Wished I would have taken a picture before I picked them up, they were laying on top of grass layed over.

I have shot big does in December that were shed bucks, but every one was stressed more than normally - like a broken leg or a fresh injury. I have pictures of bucks that are in good condition in March that still have their headgear. I agree, never saw this one before. I had a few 8 pointers on camera but not this guy.

Seems a little early to me but I found these sheds on a trail in my woods in Perry county. I know they were not there on November 17th, I bow hunted there and walked on the path 4 times that day. Found them yesterday but they have been on the ground a couple of weeks, laying on top of the grass 5 feet apart. 8 point.

Almost live from the stand. I walked into a late season go-to spot of mine on HNF with poor cell coverage. Settled into my saddle about 20 minutes before dawn. About a half hour after sunrise I saw a group of deer on adjacent ridge. Ended up being a buck chasing a doe. Following them was a second doe. Shot at her about 65 yards away from the left side of the tree, which was downhill. Immediately after the shot I saw a close limb swinging so I knew I clipped it. I couldn't see her reaction due to the smoke, but I saw a white flash uphill. Climbed down and found blood at the shot site. I looked downhill, the way she came from, but nothing. Eased uphill following a little blood until I found her maybe 40 yards away. Hard to see blood in the wet leaves. She must've been that white flash I saw on the right, uphill side of the tree. Got her quartered, cooled and packed out back to the truck now. Still have a KY buck tag to try for this week. Congratulations

No action yet. But dang it just looks and feels right! Heard one shot so far. That happens to me also. Every time I kill a nice one, I get a feeling like something’s about to happen.

What the political parties or press doesn’t tell you and someone else may have pointed this out is that the current inflation is on top of last year’s inflation so prices are not down compared to when Trump left office. Inflation may have slowed rising as fast as last year but it’s still rising.

I got the new iPhone and had to change my card reader, what iPhone model do you have? I have the iPhone 15 so from 14 on down my old reader will work. I had the 13 with a card reader, just got the 15 pro max so I’ll have to find a new one. Then when the 16 comes out I’ll have to find ANOTHER ONE. I don’t think so, what changed is the charging port on the iPhone. They went with the c on the new iPhone to be compatible overseas in Europe, 14 on down still has the quick charge port, I have a couple of old readers and just bought the new one for my 15 pro max.

I bought a bunch of muzzleloader supplies at a local auction this summer. One of the things I bought that I didn't know what was inside was a box that contained a bunch of percussion caps. There were 6 tins of Remington number 10 caps inside along with 6 number 11 caps. I don't shoot my old T/C Hawkins much anymore, it uses the 11 caps, but was wondering what the difference was between the two sizes. I think the 10 caps are for pistols, but was wondering if they will work on the Hawkins 45 caliber rifle. I guess I could load the gun up and try it, but dam I hate to have to clean it. It hasn't been shot for many years and I have the barrel pretty well spotless inside. I know I will never go through 12 hundred percussion caps in my lifetime, probably be lucky to use a tin of them I was going through my dad’s hunting supplies a few years ago after he passed and found some. By some I mean about 15 tins containing 100 each of number 10s. I gave some away as I use the shotgun primers for my muzzle loader

EHD hit had about 3-4 years ago around my property in Perry county. Haven’t hunted it but maybe twice in 3 years, now it’s full of deer from what it used to be. I hunted it this year and had 4 shooter bucks all over 135-140. To many does to count, usually saw 5-6 does and a couple bucks every sit. Keep in mind it’s only 60 acres but not to many hunters in my area. Have 2 food plots in that aren’t big but deer are in them all the time. Standing corn was taken out around me just after thanksgiving. Have not killed a doe here in about 10 years. Kill a doe at my vanderburgh county spot.
