I manage our company’s ISO9001 program and provide technical expertise to the sales, service and repair departments. Planning on retiring in a couple of years. Unlike Duff I am not counting on a big raise for moderation

Being carbon it will be straight; flex it a little and check for any broken filaments. If it there are none use it.

I’m tagged out but my daughter will have her Handi Rifle in 357 Maximum with her, I will be the guide. Every deer hit with that gun has dropped within 30 yds. Great caliber. What projectile are you using? I've had a couple of slow deaths with my .357 MAX with great shot placement. Last year my son shot one with it and the deer laid down within 30 yards of us. I couldn't see it and my son (14 years old then) thought it's head was down. We waited 30 minutes and got down to check it out and it got up and walked straight away. We backed out and found her still alive but unable to move 4 hours later. As I said the shot placement was good. I don't think we have a good performing projectile. Interested in what you are using I have had good results with the 180gr SSP. Too bad they are out of production

That is no where near enough power for deer. Next year I may get the Win 70 in 458 win mag a go at some deer. Think that's enough? 375H&H is the biggest I have taken out; didn’t get a shot with it

I had G5’s and Muzzy’s from my compound days and gave them a shot with the crossbow. They did not fly well for me. The first fixed blade I found the flew well for me were QAD’s so that’s what I stuck with.

I started out with the olive green bear broadheads I took my first archery deer with one of those. I remember that those little razor blade inserts could do a job on you if not careful. Oh yes; done that myself!
