ive seen more bucks this year though all small ... number of deer sightings is way up since i got on some more property this year.. only 2 nice bucks killed this year between the cpl of us that hunt ... but just sat. i seen to bruisers that we may end up passing on till next year just to turn the area into a trophy area.. i may shoot a doe come muzzle loader season but we are considering on not hunting the area the rest of the year.. its only 300 acres.

well indiana does have a two buck limit... one is urban and one for regular season... but i dont have any place to hunt urban. i think they should make the reg season tag good for either sex and should include muzzle loader season. keep bow season from gun season... should be able to kill a buck with your bow and one with your gun. this crap having to buy a seperate muzzle loader tag to just fill your buck tag is rediculous. heck ive only seen 2 bucks in two seasons so far while gun hunting. the first buck was the only deer i seen last year during gun season. that includes muzzle loader season... guess im ranting too much.

well she lives in ky and i in indiana. thats why i was concerned with it. it would cost alot more than i want to spend on it... i know in fishing. as long as she is not in control of a fishing pole or net she is fine . ive had more than one CO tell me that... now i guess my option is to contact the CO's about this. i know in missouri like you all said as i know in dove hunting ( i was in this situation) that i cannot search or attempt to retrieve a downed bird. but i could sit there with my dad on a bucket and chit chat. but this is indiana thats why i was getting opinions... i greatly appreciate all info and comments provided by you fellow sportsman of indiana and maybe other states. thankyou very much

one morning cpl years ago in missouri me and a buddy were hunting mingo wildlife refuge ... about 10 oclock after not seeing anything i radioed to him with no answer... so i decided to walk over to him. to much of my amaze he was sleeping.. so i walked up behind him and stood there a while... next thing i know a heard of does like 14 or 15 come running up on us and stopped within bow range... i drew back and shot and hit one ...but when i did he scared the crap out of him and he was trying to climb the tree... i swear if there was one branch low enough to reach he would have shimmyed up that tree in no time flat... so he tried to get my back that afternoon i was sitting there in a fallen down tree and i saw him sneaking up on me and i pretended not to see him as he got closer i decided to get down on the ground and hide... when he got there he was confused cause i had dissappeared.. when he got within a few feet of me on the backside of the tree i jumped up and i swear he crapped his pants.. lol... he dropped his bow and everything and i thought he was going to start running lol... funniest thing id ever seen... till this very day he still wont go bow hunting with me ...and im definitely not going gun hunting with him. i might get shot lol
