Wildlife is owned by the state. Landowners get a pass on lisences because we foot the bill to feed the states wildlife, and shelter them. Now, if the state wants to reimburse me on the crop losses, damage etc caused by the states wildlife, we can talk about me paying to hunt my own land. My .02 Dave Tell me what you would like to see done to you property that you would like to have help with Money Wise I bet I can find a program that will help fund it You want help crop damage The very best program out there is CP38 Probably 200 or so per acre Sign on bonus and Nearly 80% cost share to feed the deer on your most heavily depridated crop area its there

The problem is putting value that has dollar signs on our resources,, Every Conservation issue we are having Is Connected to A Business of some sorts . Exploiting it Deer hunting is being Absolutely destroyed because of the Profits made from an originally Natural Resource . Catfishing is being destroyed as we speak because someone has found a way to exploit them ( PAY Lakes ) Paddlefish are soon to be in trouble Due to the carp I'll bet you !! Let's be proactive on these issues Not starting all over like with deer and turkey We have let deer farms in and Wait and see we will regret that as sportsmen CWD is real the Management plans are the same when found .. In every state ,,Depopulation,, The Source of CWD is Consistent in its origin Rant over here too !!

I will discourage you from using honeysuckle It is one if not the most destructive invasive we have in Indiana It will suppress the growth of your trees up to 50 % or more and turn your understory into a desert void of Native plants all you will have is dirt I Have Seen it not only will you destroy your woods you will do the same for all your neighbors If left alone your woods will be in huntable Sam e for Multiflora Rose Go to Clifty Falls State Park 80% you can't hunt let alone walk through Kill every Asian Bush and Japenese Honeysuckle you see Same wit MF Rose

quote]Heck, everytime I go down to Switzerland County, I am amazed at the mountainous hills and sparse population there. If rifles are safe anywhere in Indiana, it would be there. [/quote] Not really ILIVE Here This place has been busted up so much in Money hungry heirs and realtors , Like one near me 54 acres is now 4 hunting camps Another near me is 2 acres looks are deceiving Go across the dam you'll see
