Thanks gents. Just got to overcome the demons that set us back. Staying with it and figuring out what it takes is the hardest part for me. Hunger has always been the biggest detriment of any kind of diet. That changed with this carnivore method. You literally eat all you want or can stomach, up 3 times a day, so hunger is the last thing on my mind now. Meat is very satiating, so the farther you get into it, the less you want or need to consume to be satisfied. I typically eat one meal a day, but it's big. Sometimes I'll take a few cans of sardines, tuna, or chicken to work if I didnt feel like eating much at home. I do eat twice on weekends with the family if we are together. I splurge once a weekend with a bun, taco shell, or similar, but that's about it. Today I had a double cheeseburger with bottom half of the bun for lunch, and just knocked off an Itailin beef sammich for dinner. So I'll eat normal till next weekend, and never, ever be starving, let alone barely hungry. I got it dialed in now, basically on cruise control now.

Congratulations! You should be proud of the great accomplishment! I bet Luke and your wife are super proud as well!
I know the battle with hunger. I think often times that I am just mouth hungry. I just cannot help myself at times. I love to cook and really love to eat!

Congratulations! You should be proud of the great accomplishment! I bet Luke and your wife are super proud as well! I know the battle with hunger. I think often times that I am just mouth hungry. I just cannot help myself at times. I love to cook and really love to eat! Thank you... Yep, got a lot of fans now. Lol. Still, way more doubters and naysayers about a meat heavy diet, and how I'm working up to a quick death with all that red meat and cholesterol. All I can say is this, read about it, and check out the enormous group of followers and comments from people that it is helping and healing their life long ailments, and resetting their metabolism by eliminating all the junk in todays processed food and backward beliefs. If all the nonsense about nutrition and diet from the ADA, AMA, govt, food pyramid, etc were true, WOULD THERE BE A GIGANTIC OBESITY AND DISEASE EPIDEMIC TODAY??? You wouldnt think so! The trick is to eat whole foods. Hungry, eat a hard boiled egg, can of tuna, avacado, cauliflower, etc. Don't eat a bag of chips, some cookies, a donut, etc. That only leaves you craving more, and never getting satisfied. That's what I've read, and found 100% true for me at least. Of course everyone is unique, so all I can say is to at least try different things to see what works for the individual.

Had my blood drawn for lab work today. Next doc appt in a week for results. They did a finger stick and urine sample to check for sugar, since I am/WAS type 2 diabetic. Couple things noted today while I was there...
278# today, was 343# July 2022
Glucose 92 today, was 168 before I started Metformin couple years ago, 120 July 2022
Blood pressure today 115/68 pulse 74
Off all meds now, and feeling fantastic. Will see what the rest of the numbers show coming up. Nurse and receptionist were shocked at my turn around thus far. 😎

Had follow up doc appt today. He was shocked to say the least. He wiped out the high cholesterol and diabetes from my current chart. Still on low dose blood psi med. I have played around with it off and on and still creep up slightly without it, so gotta see how that goes. All in all, everything is outstanding considering where I was just last Aug.

One thing I have been noticing more and more is... since feeling and looking so much better now, I am seeing the unhealthiness around me in other people. People suffering, obese, tired, grumpy, inflamation, etc. I see them at the gym, pedaling away, walking or running on treadmills, aimlessly exercising on machines, drinking energy drinks and such, yet getting nowhere. All can be changed just by cleaning up their diet and overcoming the junk food mess in todays society. Not even the doctor talks about healing the root cause of the problem, just band aid fix it with meds. Sad story.
