We have cold water in the garage fridge Yesterday my dad sat on a board that was spanning the saw horses. It snapped in half and he dropped. I couldn't help but laugh and make a comment about him eating too much for lunch.

I know I’m spending your money again might I suggest a ceiling fan with a light on it. You could probably tie on to the light on the right of your slider. They are nice when you don’t have a breezy day I put them on all the speck homes I build all of them have some kind of covered porch or are screened in. Menards has wet area fans for 200 to 400 I’m sure Lowes or HD would have them. Are you running a short wall up around the porch or floor to ceiling screen? Also buy metal screen don’t buy fiberglass it stretch’s and does not hold up as well. Your doing good job sir not trying to tell ya what to do just telling ya the mistakes I’ve made over the years and I’ve made my fair share of them hopefully it saves you a buck or two Floor to ceiling screen. 36" wide. I bought fiberglass. That's all I could find in a large roll. When it's time to replace it I'll try to go to metal. The ceiling fan is a good idea but I don't think the budget will allow it. The supplies have been way more than expected. I've got $3500 worth of lumber, electrical, and roofing so far. There's still a lot left to get. Expensive or not, I'd run electric to where the fan will go, it would be easy to add it later.

We got the roof sheeting on. Looking at your photos again it looks like you got about a 3 foot overhang you may want to put one more joist dead center of that on both ends and tie that and your 2 x 4 s all together to avoid warping You have a 2 x 4 laying flat they tend to twist and warp in a bad way when they dry when laying flat might be overkill but if one warps it will be a real pain to fix it I realize they are covered and tied to your fascia board but lumber today is not that great of quality I’ve replaced studs inside of some of the homes I built because they twisted and they were vertical

I think the picture is deceiving

One thing I noticed yesterday was the amount of shade that it puts on that side of the house. Normally the afternoon sun hits that side. I'm hoping it keeps the house a little cooler in the summer. The dining room wasn't as bright as it was before.

Yeah…. Won’t be long we will see Bikini’s in the Hot Tub. You can't see the patio at all from the road. It's nice and private back there. 😉

The bar is done. Seating for 6 and still enough room for a small table. Work is at a stand still until the hot tub is delivered. That won't happen until it dries up.
