I'm in Cleveland for my wife's surgery this week so I cant hunt this weekend but just saw these 2 bucks down the road. I get to Cleveland twice yearly for client meetings. Always stay at the Westlake Hampton Inn. Time before last I saw the biggest doe cruising through the adjoining apartment complex. She was at least 190 lbs. Prayers coming your way and to your wife.

Missed the morning hunt for family activitiee. Went tonight to public land. Seen 6 total. One behind me in brush, 4 way out at 500yds, and the close one I could have shot... of course a nice buck! Of course, already got my buck. Lol.
Back at it again tomorrow.

The dang deer have wrist watches. They started filtering out of the woods to the food plot with 1 minute of legal shooting time left. I had a dozen in the field at once at times, some as close as 40 yds. After an hour and a half I got too cold and had to get down, spooking 5 or 6 from the food plot. Could only see them because I had binoculars.
I won't be able to hunt hunt until Tues night, hopefully they won't remember, but there were some pretty bid does in the field.
What does everybody do to get the deer moved away before they get down from the stand? I really don't want to educate them that there is a stand there, I've had an old doe remember a stand for over a month before, and she'd take the whole herd on a big loop around the stand.

Coyote howl, dog bark, if possible have someon drive near the plot. That’s a few I’ve heard people use.

One buck walked by with 3 mins of time left. I let him walk on over to the corn. Thought they would really be moving tonight.
