I have the SDS and BowJax kit on my 10pt Titan Extreme. They do work great at cutting out the shock and twang. Now more like a thud. Well worth the investment.

With as cheap as you guys are getting these cross bows you can spend a little extra to trick them out.

Woody, I made one of those and put it on my Barnett before the archery industry started offering them. I should have patented the dang thing.......... I probably could have retired by now. They DO work. I used the limbsaver pucks for split limbs as the stops.

That's a nice article, but ambiguous. While they say that noise should be a factor in determining what crossbow to buy, nowhere in the article do they discuss it further as it relates to decibels. I'd love to see a decibel test included in all the information they give you when touting their wares, and included in that db test, they need to say what weight arrow was used, same as they should say what weight arrow was used to get that fps reading. Crossbows are LOUD compared to vertical bows. My crossbow is 320 fps with hunting arrows. I've had deer duck far enough at 30 yds to get spined instead of a heart shot, and have hit higher than aimed many other times. I have all the string dampers, limbsavers and I even filled the stock with foam to drop the noise level. Woody, when will the mfg start to give db numbers too, or are they afraid that will push people away? You need to stop using those subsonic arrows and go with the supersonic ones.

Is there much of a difference in the SDR or SDS systems? Re: per the Warrior G3?

I couldn't pass the deal up at Rural King. They had a dusty, cracked up package of Wicked Ridge SDR (dampening rods) marked down to $19 and a pkg of Limbsaver TwistLox for $5!

From what I understand Barnett was going to come out with one for mine but it never happened and retrofitting another voids the warranty so none for me. The limb dampeners seem to get mixed reviews on it too. I might just leave it alone

I'm gonna ride by tonight and find out. If it still says "limited quantity" they should have at least one in stock. At least that has been the experience of several members here. Show the website that shows the "limited quantity" to the manager. By pass the sales clerk if necessary

But I personally have never profited from deals like these. I always offer to my buddies if there is more than I want on clearance/sale. Often times, while standing in the aisle, I make calls or texts to them to see if interested. I usually buy, then deliver and get reimbursed, because I know they would/have done the same for me.

Me too..
With the deals going on at Walmart I texted Woodmaster and he told me to get him two of the blinds..
It’s not worth it to me to go through the hassle of buying and then turn around and sell in eBay for $50 profit or so.

I’m always up for making a buck. I just didn’t feel like driving to greenfield after driving quite a bit already today. I’d go buy all three and try to make $100 or so off of each. $300 profit is worth the effort to me. I buy stuff at auctions knowing I don’t need what all is in the lot. Then I’ll sell what I don’t want. Sometimes it pays for everything I needed anyway, so I’m not out anything in the end.

I picked up a couple of ladder stands at the Newburg WW last week. They're not quiet as tall as I like but for $40 each I couldn't pass them up. There were several left.
