$59 double stand $25 hang ons on the left.. I bought one of these last year, and used it this year. Couple things I didnt like... One was the shooting rail is at knee height. Lol. Would work great for a 10yd shot. Other is that it is pretty cheap and flimsy. I reworked it with some welding and bracing and raised the rail. It works good enough for the price. I paid $40 iirc. I picked up the last one in Beech Grove for $40 on my way home from work.

The gap between the seat and the rail is only 9". Lol Maybe made in China? Chinamen are small, lol.
At my last job, the owner of the company ordered a bunch of shirts with the company logo on the breast. The cheapest source he could find was in China, and he ordered a bunch of shirts size Medium-2XL. When they came in, the 2XL were about the size of a regular medium and the shirts labeled medium looked like youth sizes.

The Wicked Ridge Warrior G3 Crossbow has now been marked down to $199 in many Wal-Mart stores. Check brickseek to see if your store has reduced the price to $199 from $249 (even if they show 0 in stock). If they have reduced the price, take your receipt into the customer service desk and they should refund you the difference on a price match. They did this for me yesterday on the Barnett I bought 2 weeks ago.

I took my Wicked Ridge Warrior "$249" receipt in and they didn't give me the difference in cash but they gave me $52 and change as "in store credit" so I used that towards 3 packs of broadheads (including some 100gr, 3 blade, Muzzy Trocars which I've wanted to try), a box of 410 shells and even had enough left over for a KitKat candy bar!!! Thanks for the input subzero350! Strange though, I feel pumped to get an even better deal and yet almost a bit guilty!

Just checked and the columbus store dropped their price to $199. Gonna have to get that difference this weekend. I was just by there today too.

If anyone in southern Indiana is interested in picking up a Wicked Ridge the Frederica Street Wal-Mart in Owensboro had one left this afternoon. They had two but one went home with me. I've watched the video and I'm gonna read the instruction book(something I rarely do)tonight and put it together. I'm a crossbow rookie and was a little surprised at the quality look and feel of this crossbow. I just checked the Frederica store inventory and it says sold out, I guess I just made the cut. I'm glad we didn't spend too much time at the Moon Lite.

If my Walmart would have only offered me in-store credit, that would have been as good as cash to me (I would have just used it on groceries if nothing else). I wouldn't feel guilty about it at all. Wal-mart has had this price "matching" policy for a long time and if they didn't want to give money back to customers for items they mark down even further right after you buy them, they wouldn't have that policy. Truth be told they are still probably making a profit on these discounted x-bows even at the latest clearance prices.

I just went and got my $53.50 back and they gave it to me in cash. What a deal that ended up being.

Heading up to Greencastle to get my discount as well. Does make you feel almost guilty after already getting about a hundred off, but it's a standard policy and not actually cheating the system, just taking full advantage of the offered deals, like coupon clipping. Been a while since I made $30 an hour doing anything! Bet it will still feel pretty good.
Only got in a few more shots last evening, as the fog was making it hard to get a good aim on the spots out at 30 and beyond. Think I'm still going to need a couple clicks to the left, and I realized I just screwed in the 100 grain field points provided when I intended to sight in with 125's to match my BH supply, so I won't have it ready for Monday morning use anyway.

Took mine out this afternoon. With second crosshair zeroed at thirty the top is 3/4" low at 20 and 1/2" high at 40. Moving to fifty it is 4" high so the crosshair for 50 is a little off. That makes the bottom crosshair a 60, but I didn't try it. I was very pleased how left and right held on at all the distances. I feel very comfortable with it out to 40. For the price I'm very happy with the pick up. You really notice the flight time at 50.

With all my grandsons activities we're finding it a bit difficult to slate in the crossbow fun. Meantime, I wanted to see how well she might be dialed in after a quick laser bore sight! First shot from 20 yards out was about 1-1/2" off. A few clicks on windage and elevation and a second shot: SCHWEEET!! My initial observations: 1) I know crossbows are prone to be a bit loud but this seems to be quieter than I expected! 2) The TenPoint scope! Awesome! I've got rifle scopes that don't come close to this quality! 3) And the trigger...probably my favorite part...smooth as butter! I am very impressed!

How hard is this xbow for a kid to cock?

How hard is this xbow for a kid to cock? The best answer I could give is that he/she would need to be pretty hefty, like mid teens IMO. My oldest grandson is 10 and he can not cock the bow with the rope.

My oldest grandson is 10 and he can not cock the bow with the rope. THIS..... Crossbows are not toys, but full fledged killing machines. Its probably a good thing that the smaller kids cant cock them as they are probably the ones that need more parental guidance.. The flip side of this is us older guys. I can still cock with a rope cocking aid but for extended shooting I prefer the AcuDraw crank by far.
